OTF is a great all around full body HIIT workout!! The classes are led by a coach, but you are responsible for pushing yourself. The HR monitor board is excellent for motivation and gratification. The Lake Tapps studio has a super friendly and helpful staff. The members are all quite supportive of each other as well. If you're looking for a challenging, fun and highly effective workout OTF Lake Tapps is absolutely worthwhile!!

I LOVE Orangetheory Fitness @ Lake Tapps! We moved down here a couple of years ago and I tried a couple of gyms in the area and none of them felt like a great fit. OTF Lake Tapps opened at the beginning of the year and it is the best workout! I know that a lot of people have FOMO when they can't attend. I love it and would recommend it, and do, to everyone!

Joined OTF lake Tapps when they opened (Feb 2019) I have always belonged to a gym and have liked group workouts but like OTF better so far. Since joining OTF, I have been able to get in at least one more workout per week than in the past at other gyms due to the location and efficiency of the workouts. The cost seemed high to me at first, but is about equivalent to what I pay for hot yoga. And the cost is a motivator for me to not skip a workout. Also like that I can go to other studios when I travel. You do have to sign up in advance because the classes are very full, but it easy to sign up and/or cancel on line. I like knowing I have a spot in class and it is only one hour - starts and ends on time. The use of the heart rate monitor also makes you accountable for how hard you are working out.

Orange Theory has truly been life changing for me... I have struggled for years (ok - my whole life) trying to find a workout I could get "addicted" to... with no luck... Don't get it twisted -- I still hate "going" (kidding) but I sure love being there and love how great I feel after class! It has positively impacted every other area of my life both at work and home. I've even borrowed some of the wall quotes as my personal mantra's for this year!! :-)I found Orange Theory through a friend last year... she swore it was what I was looking for based on my personality and schedule. Well, this month (August) marks one year of finding the best self-care I could have asked for. The science really does work -- from every single touch point. Whether it's the heart rate monitor that drives your mind to never rest on your laurels... or whether it's the fact that you have 12 people next to you encouraging you on... I am amazed at how well they leverage psychology to lock you in. The coach pushes you as a group - but it feels like you have your own personal trainer... Having the weight routines up on the monitor with visual demonstrations is genius... your able to constantly reference back without wasting time wondering or trying to remember what the coach said. Being an entrepreneur at heart... I have to say this is the best business model I have ever seen for a gym... not only from the workout... but also from the ease of sign-up through the app and the ability to use any gym worldwide. It is super easy to sign up last minute or cancel within a day if plans change. My schedule is never routine so having the 7 day a week and early morning/late evening options was such an important factor in being able to create consistency.I'd say the last two things that really set OTF apart are 1. the fact that the workouts are never the same -- and they keep you moving the entire hour with minimal down time during the switches... and 2. the feeling of community the coaches and staff create. You don't have time to talk during the workout -- but everyone there is a part of the team during that hour! I've been to a lot of various locations and the brand always delivers... you feel like your at your "home" OTF no matter what city you are in. Now, I am bias with Lake Tapps as it is my home gym for the past 6 months... The coaches are so awesome, they are super friendly and they genuinely care about everyone in class, taking the time to get to know you by name... going out of their way to make you feel like part of their community!p.s. I have to give a shout out to my original home gym -- Tacoma! The team there is great... they always go out of their way to stay connected with you and check in on you. I originally signed up with them because it was closer to my office... but now with Lake Tapps open is it so much easier to workout close to my house. Thanks so much for all you do to make every class fun and challenging!Stirg

Great workout and amazing community from the members to the staff and coaches! Challenging yet fun workouts that are different each day and keep your body guessing. I have been doing Orange Theory for over a year now and love this new location in Lakeland!

Been going here since it first opened in February. Was afraid since I’d grown fat and lazy but the staff and Coaches are great and super motivated to help you on your fitness journey. The only challenge you have doing the work out is the limit you put on yourself. I would highly recommend OTF Lake Tapps if your serious about getting back into shape, having fun with those on the same journey and ready to live your fullest life.

I have been going to the Lake Tapps location since February & I love it!! I've done lots of different types of workouts in the past but this has kept my interest and keeps me motivated. The community of people, coaches & staff really create a supportive environment.

The Lake Tapps OrangeTheory is more than just a "gym" or a "studio" it is a community! When you walk in the door both the staff and the members make you feel welcome and a part of the group. They know your name, your favorite treadmill, your birthday, and probably even your Starbucks order! The workouts themselves are excellent, challenging, and rewarding -- the coaches care about your overall health & performance. And everything is clean & well-maintained.

My daughter suggested I try Orangetheory so I got into the Lake Tapps studio as they were opening. The work outs are hard, but they provide several options so you can find the sweet spot that fits your fitness level. I've really appreciated the coaches. Even though they're running the class, they have also taken time to help me with my form, as I've never done any formal strength training. The classes are loud and fun and there is a sense of community I didn't expect. I'm really enjoying it and plan to keep working out at OTF on the off-days from my running plan.

I've been doing Orangetheory at other locations for about a year now, but I recently moved near the Lake Tapps location.I'm always skeptical of group fitness, in part because I hate showing up and feeling like I have no idea what's going on or like I'm being judged by other people. This doesn't happen at Orangetheory and I feel like this location does an especially good job at helping people feel welcome!I've been to the Lake Tapps location several times since moving and I've loved it. The staff and management have been kind and helpful, especially with my logistics of transferring studios. Most the classes I've taken have been with Scott or Skyler. Both coaches are energetic and able to give modifications to activities when needed. They are also very kind and make everyone feel welcome in their classes. It's much easier to try new things knowing the class is a safe learning space for everyone. Some people are skeptical of trying Orangetheory, because it's more expensive than other gyms, but you also get a different experience. You have people that support and push you. It's a group fitness workout that can feel like a session with a personal trainer. Worth every penny.Typically studios offer a free class to people interested in giving Orangetheory a go. I would 100% recommend giving the Lake Tapps location a try!
