Chuze Fitness

I am amazed at how superb this gym has been. I had seen ads about chuze fitness but I had never tried it but I was mistaken. I signed up during a promotion period where there were no sign up fees or monthly dues, Which was great. Chuze also provides a one week guest period to see if the gym is a right fit. I have been to ever gym in kern county and by far the amenities provided are above all. They have a smoothie bar, A movie theater and group sessions to name a few. All of the equipment is in great shape and the variety is huge. One big thing for me is the outside turf area for different workouts. Before chuze I never looked forward to going to the gym but now I find myself eager to go everyday. On top of all of they do provide military discount which is highly worth it. Service is the best in town, all of the workers are eager to help you with a positive attitude. My only complaint would Be lack of parking during peak hours but that’s no issue.

Such friendly employees when I walk in, I love that. I also love seeing how most members do take the time to wipe down their equipment after they use it. At 8pm it was crowded in the main area but not so much that you couldn't work out. The equipment is great...I used the treadmill, biceps machine, triceps machine & then went into the cinema room to ride the elliptical and watch some ET. I'm a 56 year old young gal 😉 and I felt completely comfortable and never out of place or intimidated. The Zumba classes are also great! I am really getting my money's worth at Chuze and am happy I joined.

Great gym. I wish the gym staff start enforcing the dress code policy for the gym by not allowing wearing slippers or stopping certain individuals from exposing their body parts inside the gym

Chuze Fitness has a cinema workout room. Their cinema projector cuts out every 6 to 15 minutes and plays only sound for a few seconds. One of the ellipticals and one of the recumbent bikes are extremely squeaky. The cinema doorway blackout curtains lets a lot of exterior light in. There's lines of light showing during dark scenes. They opened 3 minutes late June 14th with a line of upset members waiting and not even an apology from staff.I sent an email about all of this and no reply. No one cares.

I signed up for a 7 day free trial.This is my 6th day on Friday June 16th 2023. I called today and asked an associate of Chuze fitness if the cinema is actually working today and movies playing before I came in. The cinema has had constant issues since day 1 of my free trial. The associate said "Yes, but the video does cut out once in a while but it comes right back on.".After the phone call I arrive at Chuze Fitness 10 minutes later to find nothing but landscapes displayed. You can't rely on this place.

Alright so, back to Edit and give My Final Review, My brother and I Both finished the 7-Day Free Pass, and over all… LOVED IT. Good Vibes all around, employees are really nice, everyone in there is getting their money, they have basically everything, Machines, free weights, Tons of Squat racks, Cardio Equipment, and an Indoor and Outdoor Turf area! When you wanna cool down from your work out, you can take a Warm-Down walk in the treadmill or other equipment in the Cinema room… a literal Movie Theater room for Gym peeps. Haha My brother ended up getting the “More” membership, this also includes to use the swimming pool, sauna and steam room, and unlimited Guest pass, one person can only go with you but if they leave you can have another friend come to use the guest pass and work out. Go in and ASK FOR THE DEALS! They have a 0$ enrollment fee, so get it while you can before it’s over! SHOUT OUT to Liz! An Employee who helped us with questions we had and enrolling for the Gym Membership! Overall I recommend it.

I joined about a month and i love it. they have amazing classes and best workout machines..and if you love to workout outdoors this place is for you!! Sauna and steamroom is amazing. they have a recovery room and also daycare for the little ones...best gym in Bakersfield

Overall this gym is amazing. I’ve been going here for almost 2 months. The atmosphere is amazing and Im satisfied that Out of all the gym’s in town, this one has motivated me to keep going. Staff are upbeat and just so nice. I do hope the kids care have more hours on the weekend
