I was smart enough to wait for the gym to open to actually give this place a reviewLet alone to open a membership.I liked how spacious it is and all the equipment options they have (amazing thing is almost all the equipment is new🤩)I didn’t like that i had to wait a good 30/35 minutes in line which i also get because it just opened.Also something to remember all big gyms will have contracts, so be prepared for the 13 month contract that they have!!!!!☝🏼☝🏼I don’t have anything to say about the memberships because i haven’t opened one yet, but i have a feeling is going to be hard to cancel and breaking out of the contract cost some money, but Other than that I honestly don’t have a bad thing to say, it was a good experience!I hope soon they get more staff because it’s needed!A good place to workout!

Lots of equipment, friendly staff, clean environment, group classes, recovery room with massage guns and rollers, sauna, smoothie bar, swimming pool (not completed), and reasonable prices. Not much more you can ask for in a gym. Hopefully it doesn't get overly crowded in the future.

Super excited you guys open right around the corner from . Great facility so far . Everyone is super nice and welcoming .Can’t wait til the pool is open . They even have an outdoor area to workout in on a nice day .

The place is nice and clean. Friendly staff. Lots of amenities. I gave 4 star because the middle area so tight not enough room to move around especially when its too crowded after 5pm. The pool is not done yet. I like the Hydromassage room and Turf Area.

Here to give 5/5 stars to combat everyone who decided to rate this place 1/5 before it even opened. How do you feel now? This place, especially for the price, is absolutely phenomenal. The facility is massive and whenever you think you’ve seen everything, there’s more. The cinema is no joke, the stereo system is on par with an actual theater experience. There’s SO MUCH equipment—gone are the days where I have to wait an hour to use one of the three benches that are functional (I’m looking at you PF). I can’t say too much about the pool yet since it won’t be open for another month but it looks super promising. Seeing as it was their first week opening, I didn’t expect too much from the smoothies, so I’ll give them a pass on that but excited to try other drinks on the menu. The staff almost remind me of the kind of employees you’d find working at an Apple store. Shout out to Matt for giving me an awesome tour and getting me hyped up to come in for my first workout session there. So excited to see this place grow and thrive.

Alright...so this place has been open for almost 1 day.Go ahead and ignore 98% of the previous reviews as they have nothing to do with the actual facility... and are all about the LONG delay we all had (I signed up in May of 2022).The facility itself is beautiful. Obviously, it is very clean as it is new. The staff have also been friendly whenever I've asked questions.There are all types of workout equipment and areas. Barbell weights feel solid, and dumbbells go up to 100 lbs.There's a yoga room, meditation room, cinema room (yes, watch a movie while doing cardio), outside workout area, group exercise area. Bathrooms are very nice and showers are big!There are plenty of drinks choices, and it's not overly cold (like Planet Fitness that has all their giant fans turned on to keep their gyms at 50° or below 🙄).I'm definitely looking forward to using this gym and checking out the other ones around California in time.

When will Chuze Fitness Bakersfield be officially open?

Waiting on the gym to open, but they keep pushing the date back…

So, how are we going to know when you are scheduled to open? I have not signed up and will not do so until I can walk the gym and assess the quantity and quality of specific equipment.Any ideas?

I received a letter in the mail yesterday saying the gym finally OPENED UP! Then when I drove by to check because they didn't answer the phone... IT'S STILL NOT OPEN! This is getting ridiculous and honestly can we get a actual date of opening.
