Looks renovated and newer..loved how big this location was and offered so many different work out equipment especially with legs I will go here again when on that side of town..employees were very helpful because I looked lost I usually go to another location..they helped me and gave me info on the new look they have..I loved it and will be back.

The employees are very professional and also make you feel welcomed. I believe the women who helped me was named Breanna she was very helpful and patient with me due to this being my first time at this facility. She gave me a rundown of the layout of gym which was extremely helpful due to the size. I'll definitely be back and will spread the good word about this IN-SHAPE

Love this Inshape!! Best in California i have been too!!! The staff is awesowe here to. Especially Camila, always friendly and always a nice smile when coming and going

Great gym! Great equipment! Friendly staff members! Friendly members! Overall it being my first time at this location in bakersfield it was all great. I am glad I packed an extra set of gym clothes on this day and got my workout in.

Great gym. Inshape has child care for the kids for 2 hours! It gives me time to work out as needed. Also, I can always take my daughter to the pool. The staff is friendly. Good atmosphere in the gym. My toddler and I love coming to Inshape gym.

The steam room never works 😞 …

I’ve held memberships at Body Xchange, 24hr Fitness and now InShape. Between the 3, InShape is definitely the better option, but I’ve recently started to feel that the white lane location is being horribly managed and falling apart compared to what it once was.There’s constantly weights being left all throughout the gym. Yes, this is an issue with the gym goers but there doesn’t seem to be a clean-up schedule at InShape. 24hr fitness had a cleaning routine where their employees went around, picking up weights and other loose items.I tend to arrive at opening and the gym is already dirty from the previous day. Employees do not take the time to clean the gym between closing and opening hours.The steam room is ALWAYS closed “for maintenance”. If you’re gonna advertise the steam room and sauna when trying to entice new members, maybe you should ensure both are available and not always closed.I’ve been sent surveys on multiple occasions, in which I’ve left my concerns and have had the manager reach out to me. I explained my concerns and was informed he would work to fix the listed issues….. they were never physically addressed.There always seems to be a handful of machines down and it takes weeks for the team to finally fix them.————On the positive side———The gym has sprays and towels all around the gym to help keep the equipment clean.There’s enough equipment to ensure you don’t have to skip the workout you had planned.Lastly, they’re plenty of areas for shy gym-goers to workout without being huddled up with everyone else.

Good gym with a lot of equipment and amenities but just gets too crowded sometimes. It’s out of their control but that would be my only complaint.

Thank you for your reply your gym is awesome in every way the pool area trainers staff and the managerI love this club but today as I was. Swimming which I really do swim someone who was not swimming jumped into my lane and she was just moving all around and I showed the rules and she flipped called the front desk etc. I come here to relax not to fight and not to have an accident a prof of 19 years I believe in diplomacy all that needed to be done is to explain to rules. That is it
