Andy is a great coach and you will learn how to defend yourself and learn discipline in the art of BJJ, it’s a great experience and a good workout. Good if you are looking to get in shape and be competitive. It’s a family and a team.

Love this place! It's an amazing environment for both the children and the adults to learn in. You feel less like classmates here and more like family. The management is geared heavily to cater to the family setting. They have the right balance of compassion, encouragement, and discipline when dealing with the kids. They cover tchnique and get cardio in the kids classes while doing activities where they don't even realize they are learning basic movements of jiu-jitsu. When the kids get out of control or break rules they pull them back into focus using discipline techniques involving movements such as sprawls teaching them to respect the rules and authorities of the classroom. In the adult classes there is so much knowledge to learn from. There are skilled fighters throughout the belt levels. Several members in the adult group competes at tournaments which betters your opportunity to learn as a new comer to the sport. They bring the lessons they learn outside of the gym back with them giving you even more of a library to pull from as you seek to grow in your own abilities.

I moved to the area and started homeschooling my Autistic son, I had never even known someone that homeschooled. Shortly after someone recommended me here and I can’t thank Andy enough for his patience with my son. He did daytime classes for homeschoolers, which had smaller classes. My son went here for a year and I truly believe this place is what broke the barrier of my son’s social issues. It wasn’t always easy and my son couldn’t always participate, but Andy welcomed him every time. My son was older than the baby sharks, but he let him go because the classes were smaller. If my son was the only one to show up for the homeschool day classes he would work with him alone. He also has several awesome guys that help him out with the classes for younger kids. I loved this place and the people that went, we only left because we moved out of state.

I love this place. Been training here since April 2018 and it has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Andy is an amazing and talented instructor who goes in depth with every technique and breaks it down for anyone to understand. Training bjj under Andy has given me a new sense of confidence and thanks to him I feel like I can except any challenge life throws at me. I appreciate everything he has done for me.

This is a great, family friendly place. The coach is very invested in his students! Several days and times are available so that it can fit your schedule. Several members are very active in competitions which is great for taking the kids to watch to encourage them. There's also tons of support for those that want to compete.

My 14 yr old son has been training here for several months and it has been a great experience. Andy is very attentive and patient in his teaching. My son's confidence has soared and he is learning self-discipline. This is more like a close knit family. So glad we found them!
