Additional issue since original review:Villa has charged my credit card for dues the last 2 months when I only gave permission to withdraw from my checking. I have never given them permission to use my card for dues. In addition, I was charged extra for my daughter's membership this month even though she is no longer supposed to be a member. I submitted a drop request in late July and they claim they never received it. No word back from Concierge at this time.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I have been a member for 2 years now and I have seen some things improved and then other issues gone downhill. I had several issues with my child not being supervised carefully at VillaKids. My child was injured 4 separate times! Thankfully, this issue has not occurred again, yet at the same time, my child is a few years older and can talk and defend oneself better.I am a lap swimmer and sadly, the pools (all of them) have a lot of dirt in them, regularly. The kid water feature is rarely working. 2 out of 3 pools have been unheated for weeks with no signage or alert sent to members. The women's spa area in the locker room is often over capacity with not enough chairs. The steam room was broken for over 5 months! In the bathrooms, many of the faucets are not secured and move all over. There is no handyperson on site that I know of because plugged up sinks took up to 2 weeks to fix. There is occasionally a shortage of towels. It does not seem like your dues go towards much of any improvements. Showers were finally remodeled in the women's locker room but the process took way longer than one would expect. On a few occasions my account has been overcharged. When you try to contact "concierge", often you have to leave a voicemail. Sometimes you hear back, sometimes not. When comparing the quality of swim lessons at Villa vs. THPRD, hands down, THPRD has cleaner pools, lifeguards at all times and better trained staff. It would be nice if employees would actually enforce the rules. All too often people are talking on their phones in places designated call-free (locker room, spa). Women are supposed to be "quiet" in the spa area but occasionally women come in groups and talk quite loudly. Some women actually hog the chairs by placing a towel down and leave to go swimming, then finally return 30-60 minutes later.Lifeguards do not supervise the pools around the clock. Half the time when I bring my child, no one is on duty. At least have someone watching the kids in the children's section of the pools! The workout equipment is pretty good. Machines are in working order typically. Not enough hand weights in 1,2,3,5 lb range. The stretching area has been moved to the middle of the room where so many can see you from their machines. Before, it was located in the corner and offered more "privacy". There is not enough stretching room at times, which is frustrating.Front desk staff should be cross-trained to check in kids for child care. It is not unusual to wait 5-15 minutes before you are able to get through the process to pick up your child. I do appreciate the Parent Night Out events. The child care staff seems to have improved in the last 6 months. I appreciate they hold fun events for families, but usually there is a fee. Most of the time the fee is more expensive than such an event elsewhere in the community. If this facility were more affordable, my spouse would be a member. Unfortunately only myself and our child can go. I don't know of another facility that has comparable amenities near my home around the same price. If there were, likely I would have left Villa long ago.I do want to note that the General Manager is approachable and did take my issues seriously when I reported them. I like the yoga exercise instructors. The women who tend to the laundry are kind. Here's hoping my review was worth the time spent and some improvements are made. Lastly, if my monthly due was more affordable, I would have given this place a 3/5.

I'll preface by saying the facilities are great and kept relatively clean and presentable. A good experience there. Pools, tubs, etc. are pretty decent. That said, I've yet to run into a more administratively inept place. It's actually laughable. Whoever is their head of Admin there absolutely needs to be let go. We've been members for over a year and in that time we've never managed to get through a simple admin request without grief. They've double-charged us, neglected to change account primary despite repeated requests, and now that we've asked to end our membership, they're still taking our money despite giving them their 30-day notice (they make you jump through hoops to unsuscribe to them, of course). Please get it together, VillaSport. Your guest experience is absolutely diminshed by how poor your customer service and accounting dept. are.

Like many others have stated in reviews recently this club has really gone down hill. The kid classes are hit and miss (more miss) when it comes to availability. The environment reflects the staffs apathey to keep the place clean, stocked with towels and generally useable. The behavior of other patrons has also contributed to the decline. There have been too many times to count that the pool facilities have been shut down for one reason or another, exercise equipment is out of service, etc. I wouldn't consider rejoining even if it was half the cost. It's probably fine for single or adult couples but it's not worth it for families.

When we first signed up for this club in early 2022 it was top notch, clean and had greet services. Since then unfortunately the quality of service and experience has gone down significantly. Showers, bathrooms and locker areas are often dirty and definitely not cleaned regularly. This is much worse in the family change rooms. The kids pool indoors is closed every so often and the water feature has now been broken for over a month. We still love the outdoor pool all year around since it's heated but monthly fee for this club is not low and I feel we're no longer getting out money's worth. I have notified management of these issues and I do hope they make some improvements.

It’s interesting that they seem to not try to do better, especially while losing so many people to Life Time. Going to both within a few weeks there were massive differences. Although, I do note that Life Time is new and much more expensive.1. Is everything always broken? Indoor pool has been closed with no updates for a while.2. All the water features for kids at the outdoor pool are broken and often off. Big sharp cracked plastic edges my kiddo cut his hand on just by touching by accident. Swimsuit spinner has never worked in family locker room that I know of. The water refill stations either. Locker rooms are super gross. Two smeared poop issues (all over the floor) this week, used pads and tampons in showers, hair balls etc. Yuck! I’ve NEVER seen a towel in the cool towel fridge. Never seen steam in the “steam room.”3. There are some things in the family locker room like lotion, sometimes if you search. More stuff if the Womens locker room, but again you have to search for it and it’s not always there. Ants! My clothes were covered in ants from my locker.4. The whole no guest pass thing is really bad business. Give members a few guest passes a month, that’s how you get and retain members!5. My small children have hated going to villa kids so far and have refused to go back. They said the staff ignored them and just told them to go play in the gym for the whole 2 hours. HUGE missed opportunity here. On the other hand they LOVED Life Time and the classes offered while in the child care.6. Where are all the classes? Not much variety and kids classes only happen a few times a WEEK. Well actually there are no kids classes at all (again huge miss) but the few they can go to with parents are rare. Seriously Villa!Clean the areas, keep them stocked, simple, every sink should have lotion, hairspray, q-tips etc. not 1 set for the whole locker room, also why doesn’t the family locker room have this stuff? This is huge. Replace gross and furniture. Give Members 2 guest passes a month. Have kids classes! Seriously so strange they don’t since they claim to be family oriented. Make broken things a priority!!! Make bug infestations a priority!! So much missed Opportunity! When in villa kids why the heck are they NOT doing classes with them like they do at lifetime? Or at the very least playing with them. Classes Like yoga and tumbling would be easy to lead, this is a massive miss!!! They’re going to go out of business. At this rate they have to keep up with their competitors at lifetime at-least in the most basic ways. I felt like a celebrity at Life Time at villa I feel like I’m on the wrong side of the tracks! Definitely just going for one month to use the pool with the kids then done.

A very sophisticated sporting facility. With indoorand outdoor pools. There is a special corner for women to pamper themselves. They have a family changing room too. Well equipped athletic club. I have visited a couple of times, though not a member. The parking space is huge too.

I’m not sure who dropped the ball on this but my membership had been cancelled about a year ago. However, I was still charged and the club was fully aware of it. I spoke with someone by the name of Chase in membership enrollment department who was very understanding and helpful. I thought that things had been fixed. I was to either have a check mailed or be given the option to start my membership over again (the dues that shouldn’t have been collected, applied towards that month). I followed up with calls and emails, yet the responses began to slow down. Eventually stopping altogether. So, my question to Villasport is how can this be rectified? It would be great if they actually responded. I would be more than happy to update my review if some type of follow up were to take place.

Very expensive club, and they have a ways to go. Locker rooms are often dirty, reported a dryer outlet was not working, and months later, it’s still not working. I pay over $130/month for a SINGLE membership to come into a locker room with dirty showers, empty towel shelves, overflowing dirty towel bins and overflowing trash in the bathrooms, these pictures were at 4pm on a Sunday. I am ending my membership early because you should not have this happen at almost $1600/year. Done.

Worst ever. Signed my kid up for the Water hole fun. The normal person would think this meant that they would be in the water correct. Not the case, 2 hours out of the 6 hours they play in the pool. This is also in the morning when not as warm. Also wasn’t aloud to go down the waterside because I was told they didn’t have enough lifeguards on duty. I feel that is a Villa sport issue.Their excuse is in small print on the page.Activity’s subject to change, this is bait and switch. I paid $480 for one week as a non member price. My twelve year old was stuck in a room with a bounce house with all the 5-7 year old. We have a trampoline at home if he wanted to bounce. They wouldn’t let him play basketball in the gym. Also on the site says they feed you lunch with a different meal everyday, so after Monday we have packed a lunch.I’d give this a zero if I could, Unbelievable what a Ripoff this was.

One of the best overall family athletic clubs in the southwest part of Portland. The pool in the summer is best place to spend a lazy day after a solid workout. i'm surprised there hasn't been more developers putting together an outdoor pool seen like this that's open to the public on a membership places in this area. We need it!
