Fitness Evolution - Bellingham

I just signed up at Fitness Evolution and the staff are super friendly and enthusiastic! I was kindly invited to find another gym and released from my contract at Bellingham Fitness because, apparently they are not about working out with a purpose or at a high intensity... Fitness evolution welcomed me with open arms and I'm excited to start working out here!

Best Gym in town! Clean, good equipment that's well spaced,, a variety of awsome classes and good people. I've been a member here since 2007 and seen the hard work of the fantastic renovations and enjoyed the transition of ownership to someone who not only cares about the members, but is invested in the community. This is my healing place and I highly recommend it!🤩

I should actually be a walking billboard for the gym because I love it that much 😂 Not just because I work here, but because it's the best gym I've ever worked out at. The staff is great and during this time there isn't another gym that I'd feel safe at. I stand behind how well things are cleaned because I'm there doing it. You won't find a cleaner gym anywhere else and that's important right now. We have great trainers, awesome classes, and a great atmosphere. Come check us out!!

I very rarely write a review but I think this one is warranted. I moved to the area at the end of May and was concerned that I would not be able to find a gym. The "gym gods" must have been smiling upon me because I found this gym. From the first day this place has been nothing but amazing. The workers need to give themselves a pat on the back for the excellent job they do. I go at 5 am and you would expect someone to be grouchy but this isn't the case. Each worker is pleasant and courteous and it really gets your day started off on the right track. Throughout these tough times with COVID, the gym has done a wonderful job with distancing and cleaning. Hats off to you all and your efforts have not gone unnoticed and it's very much appreciated. Keep up the excellent work.

Give us a review they said. Okay. I have been coming here for a long time. Lot’s of new changes and additional services being offered with the recent change in owners. The equipment is not on par with other gyms in the same price range. But gets the job done. This gym can get very crowded with little room for stretching and cooling down. The new owner is friendly but a little self absorbed and attention seeking. He sells his own line of health aids and clothing which are $$. They have a juice bar that serves a variety of good items. They also offer classes and have a few membership choices. It’s a gym. Not a social club. Be humble, do the work, leave and repeat.

Update: the staff sure have done a nice job cleaning, rearranging machines and keeping the covid compliant!! Masks are having to be worn but do-able. I like the cleaning stations placed around with the really good cleaner for us to use. I feel totally safe from germs in this club.This club, Fitness Evolution, is the absolute BEST club in Bellingham. It's the cleanest, best music, best trainers, best for your $$. The staff are so warm and welcoming it just makes you want to come back. The owner is a very intelligent, compassionate and humble guy. I feel like I found "home" coming to this club. I feel safe here!

This is by far the best gym around. The equipment is well maintained and cleanliness is always a priority. I have been to many gyms as I travel for work often and it’s rare I can find a gym that accommodates my bodybuilding type equipment needs and does so with cleanliness as a priority. I like that I can use chalk and not have to worry about being scolded. The staff is always courteous and friendly and will go out of their way to help in any instance. Check the place out on a guest pass and you won’t be disappointed.

Very clean, and professional. As with many gyms going during non peak times opens up a variety of equipment. For the price I pay, (10.00 per month and 40.00 a year) it works great for me 😉.August 30, 2020UPDATED REVIEW:Since I don't have access to write a separate review I am adding to an older review I did 2 yrs. Ago.Here is my current review:Fitness Evolution is doing an excellent job with COVID-19 safety guidelines. Here is the list.1) Members are asked to keep work outs to 35-45 minutes. Allowed into the gym is your water bottle, keys, sweat towel. They ask that all other belongings stay outside. The shelves and lockers are closed. As are the water fountains, showers, & tanning booth. They will refill your water bottle for you at the shake counter.2) Masks are required (thank you!)3) Weight machines are sectioned off with no more than 5 persons (or however the capacity numbers are allowed) per area. Free weights are same.4) Temperature is taken at the door.5) Capacity allowances may require a wait outside. I did not have to wait thus far (I started back last week and have gone twice).6) Sanitizing stations in abundance! Easily accessible from each station/zone to wipe machines down with. So you know it's clean.7) Hand sanitizer readily available and also in abundance8) The staff is very friendly and helpful.I understand there is also deep cleaning done daily.I felt comfortable working out and assured that this gym is doing everything they can (and then some) to keep their members healthy. This gym is fantastic. Clean space, great equipment, and everything you would want in a gym to get you closer to your goals. Since taking over in January, Steve, the new owner, has made it his mission to provide a space for the Bellingham community to feel welcomed and involved. He is always on the floor, talking to this members, and asking what changes they want, and (here is the important part) is actually putting them into practice. Just this week, after hearing about how tough it is to find a parking spot, he began re-striping the lot to make the spots clearer and therefore prevent cars taking multiple spots. Matt, the new general manager, has already made changes to make the gym more customer service focused, which is not something you will find in most 10 dollar/month gyms. All in all, this gym is great, and I am so excited for what is in store.

I absolutely LOVE my gym, and cannot recommend them enough. I’ve been a gym rat my whole adult life (more than 30 years) and have never seen a place more well kept. It’s like the cleaning crew follows you around (tho not really) it’s just that clean and well maintained. Great equipment and vibe all day every day! Love these people.
