Fitness Evolution - Bellingham

I only switched gyms because of Silver sneakers.I was very happy at this gym through many owners over the last 30 yrs!I love the aerobic instructors!!

We dropped in here to check it out for the first time. It's a large enough location with a decent amount of equipment. I really appreciate the number of squat racks, and workout benches. They have a really cool cardio theater where you can get on a cardio machine and watch a movie, a pretty unique touch. One thing I did not love is the dim lighting. It's sort of a warehouse setup so I can see that lighting could be a challenge, but to me the place ends up looking a bit dark and depressing.

A good commercial style gym. I would compare it more to planet fitness than anything else. I was a member here for four years, i had a lot of good early workouts here when i was younger and going through college. If you're at western or any other school, just use the school gym. If you want to making fitness a part of your life everyday. Go to training grounds.I kept my member ship for so long because i was continuing to pay a rate from four years ago even though i had barely used the gym for over a year. Unfortunately the cancelation policy here is horrible. Where this all started was about a year ago i got a new debit card and figured all my subscriptions were cancelled. All of them were except this gym which somehow continued to pull money from my checking for a year. When i found out i was honestly okay and decided to come back to the gym for a bit as i was in town for the holidays and wanted to see how the gym changed. After i decided to cancel. To cancel you have to make an account online on a separate third party website and give 30 days notice to cancel a member ship. Yeah sounds pro consumer. I had to pay another 13.05 to cancel my member ship today the 23rd when i usually get billed on the 2nd of each month. This place better not bill me on the second for a gym i am no longer using. The entire process is as time consuming and anti consumer as possible. This is why i never do autopay for any gym anywhere and recommend you don't either.Too be honest this gyms equipment hasn't been updated in years and they've continued to make anti consumer additions to the gym. Nobody wants to workout with 20 TVs repeating the same ads everyday, even advertising your own unhealthy snacks. No thanks. Yet they continue to show passive aggressive skits of them repairing broken light furnishings around the gym explaining this is why you cant have new equipment. Yikes, this place really went down hill. I highly recommend you pay for a membership at training grounds where you can workout any time of day with no interruptions in a real training environment. If you live in Bellingham, see some real progress and avoid all the scams with the billing this place will pull in the months to come.

Cheap, decent equipment. Downside is the men's sauna is nasty and hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in the last 6 months I have been using it. It also varies wildly in temperature, some days its as low as 160, some days its 210. Super frustrating.

Have been coming here for about 3 years now on and off with pandemic challenges. Fitness Evo has been amazing - great equipment, friendly staff, good overall facilities, water filling stations, smoothie bar.... you can even get your hair cut in there! As someone not from Bellingham, I felt very welcome when I first set foot in Fitness Evo and still do to this day in 2022.Great work to their staff and management teams! I also really like the new layout. Much more space and squat rack availability.

My wife and I were visiting from Albuquerque, NM and needed a place to workout during our week long vacation. We were happy that we found Fit Evo. The facility is nice, well organized and impeccably maintained. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The free weight and machine area is well laid out and the cardio deck is great. Loved the atmosphere and the infotainment that was constantly played on their tv monitors. It gave the gym a very personal touch. The smoothie bar looked very nice and their merchandise and logo is really cool. We purchased Fit Evo souvenirs to show off at home. This place is awesome and we will definitely re-up our one week passes on our next visit. Wish we had a gym like this in our hometown. Keep up the good work! 5 stars all the way.

Very inclusive community vibe! Really welcoming and friendly staff. Great equipment, very clean locker rooms, excellent personal trainers, very engaged owner and management team. Great community Gym!

I chose this gym because it had the best options for childcare. The staff is very friendly in the kids club and they are so good with both of my kids. The gym itself is always clean when I come and the other gym members are friendly and approachable and always help spot when needed. I’ve gone at different times of the day and on weekdays and weekends and it’s about the same level of busyness each time. I hardly ever have to wait long for a machine and easily work in something in the mean time. The prices are good compared to other gyms in the area.

I am so stoked that I found a gym that has everything I need and want to help me reach my goals. Jared was awesome with showing me around making sure I felt extra comfortable with the gym. It was a no brainer signing up. Getting a free training session with Lex was exactly what I needed to organize my fitness plan and get started off in the right direction. She understands that what might work for someone doesn’t work with everyone. She works me the way my body needs to be to achieve my goals. It’s a extra treat to stop and smoothie on the go. Matt is the SHAKE MASTER! Makes the best protein smoothies so far and loves doing it.There is so much more to explore and members to meet that are amazing as well…

Good gym but honestly worst gym for cancellation. I got a new card and my payments did not go through had not been going to the gym and didn’t think about. Was never reached out to once by the gym about payment and then sent to collections honestly save your time and money and go to a real gym. This place is just a way to extort money out of people I will not be returning and will make sure no one else I know does either.
