Fitness Evolution - Bellingham

Been coming here off and on over the years and I have to say as someone who’s been in the fitness industry they not only kill it with cleanliness but with customers service as well! Great staff and well kept equipment

A lot of the bad reviews of this gym come from a lack of understanding of how the cancellation policy works but it's actually very simple:1.) You can't cancel if you owe money.2.) You get billed one more month after the month you cancel and you still get to use the gym that last month. If that final payment doesn't go through, see rule 1.And that's literally it.This gym is actually an incredibly good deal if you're using it as a long option. Tons of machines, free weights, and cardio equipment, staff and management that care about you and will remember your name and favorite flavor of pre-workout, the best hours of any non-24 hour gym in the whole county (and they're open holidays too!), and a lot of other stuff I could go on and on about.This is also one of the cleanest gyms you'll find for this price. Having worked out at facilities all over the continent from Mexico City, to NYC, to Miami, Toronto, Seattle, and everywhere in between, Fit Evo's cleaning standard is among the best. I was seriously surprised. Keep up the good work, guys.

They have a shady contract, I cancelled my membership before the next payment cycle and they said I still had to pay the next month’s bill even though I’m not going to be using it… their closing statement says if you don’t pay it they will keep your account open and keep charging you monthly. If I cancel before the next cycle I shouldn’t pay the next cycle and have access for a month I’m not going to use.

Beware of shady business practices. I recently inquired on their website about their membership terms and conditions. They claim the membership is “month-to-month” but effectively say that you cannot cancel your membership the next month after joining and that you would have to pay for a minimum of 2 months. They make cancelling your membership extremely difficult and offer no pro-rate options. When questioned about their policy, they claim “industry standard” as if it’s some sort of rite of way for shady business practices. Would not recommend.

My absolute FAVORITE ONE OF A KIND BHAM OWNED GYM :D Jerad and Becky have been a huge part of my life and sobriety recovery (6/16/19) and having them be a part of this gym’s team is just one of the many reasons I’m never switching gyms! The staff is incredibly kind and supportive while also maintaining a watchful eye over me when I’m really feeling down. They always make it a point to say hi and never judge my attire or where I’m at mentally. I escaped a 2 year abusive relationship during my time at this gym and they were quick to put that name on the list so I never have to feel scared here to be unapologetically Margaret. Love you 5ever I’ll keep coming back!

Not only is it a terrible gym, but Zues help you if you ever need to cancel your membership. I was charged for months after my cancellation.

Me again 😘If you’re actually wondering about the establishment, just know it’s alright. Decent starter gym, but don’t trust a single 5 star review. Every single one of them were either solicited for or written by a member of staff (both of which is a TOS violation btw)

I've had a bad experience with their accounting. While I still do not appreciate that it happened and don't see myself returning, I appreciate the owner reaching out to me directly to explain what the issue was and how they are urgently fixing the problem. I had a 1 star and will increase it to a 3 star.
