Love the Athletic Society & Ryan’s coaching. Classes are so unique and versatile & I really appreciate his attention to detail and creation of such a unique space & community. Wonderful group of people he’s brought together & his classes are all excellent.

This training class has been a game changer! After working out solo for years I noticed my results Plato and felt I was spending way to much time in the gym. Ryan has change my gym experience and made it 100x more efficient. Highly recommend !

Our high-school aged son worked with Ryan getting ready for baseball season two years in a row. We reached out to Ryan hoping that weight training might help with injury prevention, as our son had a history of straining his pitching arm every year. What we ended up getting was so much more! Not only did working with Ryan help prevent injuries, but our teenager became so much stronger, coordinated on the field and most importantly, confident.

Ryan is an expert at his craft. He makes you feel comfortable and teaches you proper form. He’s focused, relatable and he educates you on why we are doing the exercise we are doing. The classes Ryan teaches are tough, he motivates you to grow to your potential. I would recommend joking the Athletic Society of Bend of you want to see transformation of mind and body.

I’ve been to a lot of gyms and had a few trainers in the past. Nothing comes close to how amazing this place is. Lights, sound and workouts designed to hit the target muscle groups. Ryan mixes compound and isolation exercises to get the most out of each session and fun too. Highly recommend a class or personal one on one.

Ryan offers great group fitness classes and 1 on 1 training. I felt like time flew by during every session I attended due to the fun culture and fast paced workouts. Even after a few classes I learned more about proper lifting technique and form than any lifting class has ever taught me previously. Thanks Ryan!

My wife and I are in our early 70’s and have been working out with Ryan for 2 1/2 years. Our goals include to continue skiing/kayaking/golfing as long as possible without injury.Workouts with Ryan at the helm are not run of the mill. He consistently changes up the program to fit our needs and keep it challenging. A typical first half of an one hour session will consist of stretching to increase flexibility and improve mobility. The second half is often spent with weights working all the muscle groups. Some days we forgo weights to work on dexterity, hand/eye coordination and improving dynamic mobility.Ryan has taken two active people who never worked out before into a couple that are certainly not just “aging” away their senior years. His knowledge, his experience, his professionalism, his sense of humor makes working out a great experience.

I worked with Ryan preparing my fitness for an intensive 2-week surf camp. His extensive knowledge of fitness and physiology set me up to be able to handle the daily rigor of 2 hours dryland training followed by 4 hours surfing for 12 days straight. For a female at the ripe age of 60, I was so happy to have trained with Ryan who lead me with exercises that strengthened all of the muscles that I would be using and built my fitness. Ryan is a great teacher and coach who I would highly recommend.

Always a good work out here! Ryan is passionate about what he does and his classes will kick your butt. The space is really fun to to be in and the he’s built a great community to be around!
