Awesome results! Had a long time shoulder injury that PT and doctor visits hadn’t solved. Was able to work it out in a few months and have much better mobility. Really knowledgeable staff and aimed at getting results that work with your schedule and helping you learn movements and exercises personalized to what you need. Highly recommend for personal training or classes.

This gym is seriously one of a kind. The classes are perfectly designed, you get one on one coaching every class, the community is stellar. Everyone is so supportive and encourages each other. Been going here for a while now and as a construction worker and snowboard coach my body takes a beating, working out here has allowed me to regain flexibility and strength. There are a variety of classes all of which are very welcoming, no matter your fitness level. For those who has been hesitant to join a class based gym this is your place, welcoming staff and great vibe from all that are around, nothing but encouragement here!

I came to Fortitude having only 8 months of weightlifting experience ever. I wanted to learn how to do weightlift the right way and prevent injury. I visited several gyms in Bend before getting started and Fortitude is the most thorough in helping me learn proper form.

As Kermit would say, “It’s not easy being green!”… and green with fitness I was. Having always been a workaholic, I never made time for exercise. A few months ago, I decided that needed to change. Being new to the gym setting, I set out to find a place where I could feel safe and comfortable while attempting to get in shape. Travis Weaver, the founder and owner of Fortitude Fitness, is an exceptional fitness coach and an inspiring human being. His training in and knowledge of human movement and mobility, his dedication to helping his clients achieve their goals, and his professionalism, all are unparalleled. I began training with Travis before his move to Bend, when he owned a gym in Truckee, CA. I now train with him via zoom - since I'm still in Truckee. He is currently working with me (in concert with my PT) to recover from ACL surgery and has helped me make enormous progress in returning to full strength and mobility. Whatever level of fitness or goal you are looking to achieve, regardless of your age, Travis will work closely with you to get there, whether you are training in classes with others, or opt for personal training sessions.

Love this place! I'm not a gym guy, I've rarely belonged to any, it's not my thing, usually. But the training here is inspiring - I've been here 1.5yrs and I'm sticking with it! I'm in my 40s and never lifted weights previously, but with clear instruction from Travis, I felt safe trying it, and I'm really enjoying it - not to mention being considerably stronger than I've been...ever!I never get bored. Every workout is different, so you're always engaged. In the past, I've done classes and had routines, and they just get dull, until I leave. But at Fortitude, you never know what today's workout is going to be. Cardio could be bikes, rower, running, or just a really active circuit. We work on strength as well as mobility and agility. Working out here has helped me take my skiing to the next level, too.
