Powerhouse Gym

From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed. I’m new to all of this and they have many different trainers for ever level. If you are trying to lose weight or train for competitions Powerhouse is the place to be!!!

Been going to Powerhouse for about a year now, and I can’t express how much I love it there! The atmosphere is awesome, and all of the staff are very welcoming. If you’re in the area and looking to get a membership that’s worth it, I’d recommend checking it out!

Wow. What an amazing gym. I was blown away just from the aesthetic as soon as I walked through the doors. I initially went there to purchase a pre workout called Wrecked that they carry at their Pro Shop and I just had to get a day pass to try out the equipment. The people here are so nice too. Super clean. Energy is off the charts. So much equipment to use and the owner is still adding new pieces all the time. Great place to workout. Best in the valley and it's not even close.

The environment and equipment are great here. I think the music is definitely played too loud but they don’t listen to the reviews about that. Originally I left this place 3 stars as they advertise the month to month membership as a “no commitment” cancel at any time type membership, but they have a 30 day obligatory notice period for cancellation anyways in which they will still charge you for the next period, which I feel is kind of underhanded. I also got a random $15 charge the day I tried to cancel, but I couldn’t cancel because I didn’t bring the form in. They offered to rectify it by waiving the last charge period which I appreciated at first, but I am changing my review to one star as the manager Hunter called me after I left an honest 3 star review, threatening me that he would charge me for the last period if I didn’t change it. So I will incur that cost if it means other potential members will know what they’re getting into.

Pros-so much equipment for every kind of fitness goal, supplement store and locker rooms with showers, offers massages and a posing room.Cons-MASSIVELY CROWDED WAYYY TOO MANY PEOPLE, a majority of their clientele are wanna be influencers so you will be seeing a lot of cameras and hooligan behavior, gym music is REALLLLY loud so loud it’s like a club on Friday night.

great gym equipment-wise, but horrible management, tricks you into signing up for personal training and tried to overcharge me for it. one of their managers just called me to discuss that and hung up on me while I was in the middle of talking and was very rude. extremely unprofessional all around.EDIT: yes he did hang up on me while I was in the middle of speaking. the fact that you are denying is just a further display of unprofessionalism.

I absolutely love love love powerhouse gym in Bethlehem! The spin classes here are top notch. Each instructor has their own style and I always get such an amazing workout! 10/10 recommend spin class to anyone who wants cardio in a fun way.

BEST gym in the Lehigh Valley!! You’re getting the best and most equipment for the best price value!! Great atmosphere. Great employees! Always clean. Highly recommend you check this place out!

Love this gym. Only negative for me is the Music. They play it way too loud that I have to blast my own music to avoid hearing it. Otherwise everyone is friendly and facility is much cleaner than most other gyms

I have been a member for over two years and for the most part I really liked this gym.I stopped liking it as much when the spin bikes were locked in the spin room. It’s ridiculous to keep equipment like this locked up.A friend that takes the spin class asked why they can’t put bikes outside, management said due to fear of members ruining the bikes, they’re gonna keep them locked up.Like all equipment in the gym, that is used repeatedly, proper maintenance should be applied. There should be no fear or risk of damaged equipment.Even if said equipment was damaged, I’m sure with all the cameras in this gym, they would be able to track down individuals that are not taking care of the equipment. As they do to ban members that don’t follow the returning your weights policy.The spin bikes were one of the main reasons I signed up two years ago, and now having to wait for the only bike available is a real bummer.I always see people on that one bike and not every one can make the 9am or 6pm spin classes due to work or children.It would be absolutely wonderful if there were more bikes available for members to use.Thank you for your time.
