Great academy with a great pedigree of Jiu-Jitsu. This is a Robson Moura association with a great professor. Ed has many programs for everyone and is a great teacher. Highly recommended.

Training at Frequency Martial Arts has been amazing. You will not only gain a highly skill set of self defense but a great group of people that will treat you with respect, will encourage/motivate you to get better and before you know it, it become more like a family environment. If you want to practice martial arts and you are not for sure where , definitely set up a free intro class and check it out. You will not regret it.

My experience at Frequency Martial Arts has been very positive. The instructors are professional and patient throughout the training process. My child and I have learned a lot in a very short amount of time. I find myself looking forward to the training. In addition, the class schedule is very appealing. Lots of opportunities to find a time that works with a busy schedule. I would highly recommend Frequency Martial Arts to anyone who is interested in learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the Bloomington-Normal area.

In town for the week for work and I was looking for a place to train while in town. I filled out the online form tonget info on dropping in. Coach Ed called me within a few hours and gave me the info on dropping in. Once I got to the gym I noticed how clean and organized it was and they had a kids class going. The kids instructors appeared to be very professional and work well with the kids. Once I signed in, everyone was very welcoming and made me feel at home. I plan on going back to train whenever I come to Bloomington.

I completed my trial tonight at Frequency and I have to say I was more than impressed. Before I even stepped foot in the door, Coach Ed set a high standard with communication and expectations. I have zero experience and was a bit apprehensive to check it out. Coach Ed was reassuring. I was paired up with an instructor to start off. Brianna was kind, friendly, encouraging and patient. She smiled the whole time and made sure I was having fun while learning. I’m not exaggerating when I say I’m almost twice her size, which is a true testament to the art of BJJ. Her technique and experience showed through as she moved me with ease. Look forward to getting back in the gym and learning more from the team.

Dropped in from out of town for a Saturday class and was greeted by everyone who was there right away. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. Ed the instructor did a great job of showing the class how to improve on some of the moves we as individuals had problems in. Definitely recommend anyone to stop in and check out what they have to offer, I definitely will be back again!

Not my home gym, but I was in town for work and figured I was looking for a good place to train. The instructor was awesome, very friendly, and knowledgeable. The other students in class were very welcoming, and I had a great time! The place was clean and well kept.Side note, I walked in at the tail end of a kids class. They all looked like they were having a blast, which is a good sign too.
