Coach Ed provided my girls with some of the basics on safety and taught the lesson in a fun way which they will remember! My girls said “we didn’t like it, we LOVED it!”

The new gym just south of veterans is awesome. There couldn't be a more kind, patient, and informative set of instructors than Ed, Doug, and Ben.

My boys started training about a month ago. They enjoy it and as parents we love that they are getting exercise and gaining confidence. Plus the added benefit of learning to be good listeners both on the mats and off.

My daughter started about two weeks ago, and we love it!! The coaches go above and beyond to walk each child through every step, and the kids are great about helping each other out as well! Great place, and great people!

It's intimidating as an adult to learn something completely new and put yourself out there to be a beginner at something again. Everyone at Frequency has been in that same spot before, so they understand the feeling, and I've experienced nothing but kindness and respect since I've been on the mats. Personally I was worried about being one of the only women in a mostly all-male environment, and that was a big hesitation I had before deciding to schedule my trial class. I am treated just like every other teammate, and I completely trust all of the coaches and the positive environment they foster. I can't recommend Frequency enough. If you've been thinking about trying BJJ, SCHEDULE YOUR TRIAL CLASS and give this place a try.

Frequency Martial Arts is a great place to train BJJ whether your an adult or child. A wonderful environment, that very inviting and filled with great coaches and teammates. I started out bringing my kids to the youth program and then ended up joining the adult. Highly recommend!

Frequency Martial Arts is a great place to learn BJJ.  The facility is clean and spacious, and there are more classes on the schedule than any other school in town.  The coaches are knowledgeable and helpful, but Coach Ed in particular has made FMA a safe and inclusive environment where learning and working hard can be fun.The best part is the team. We’re a diverse group of men and women from all age groups with a wide range of experience levels, body types/size, and rank. We’re all invested in each other’s improvement, and we are always happy to welcome new teammates onto the mats.

Class lessons go beyond learning Jiu Jitsu skills to include respect, camaraderie, and confidence . All this, coupled with the physical exercise, has been amazing for my family!

Showers (coming), BJJ black belt instructor, multiple high level belt associate instructors, family atmosphere, CHILDRENS PROGRAM with self defense instruction training, and a new location (coming) with multiple purple and brown belts with experience and teaching ability under five stripe BJJ Master Robson Moura. Fees are comparable with other quality BJJ dojos. Recommend.
