I moved away and was told my account was canceled but I would be charged for one more month. This was fine and expected because that is what I was told, However I was just charged for another month and when I called the lady told me I had to come in even though I moved. She stated that nothing is done over the phone and basically called me a liar. Guess im out $200 now, if you want to keep from throwing your money away then get everything they tell you in writing!

Interesting that there are only a few "responses from owner" to only 26 reviews. The main problem with Lifetime Fitness Corp, " A healthy way of life" company, is, as many will agree, poorly trained and rude staff and management. Not only are staff people rude which is a byproduct of poor management, the management at the corporate level have proven to be dishonest and will commit fraud in attempts to avoid lawsuits.

I love Lifetime in Savage. They offer so many classes and they are all great... Especially Zumba. They have Zumba 6 days a week and most days more than once a day. The facilities are very nice as well. Best gym I've been to.

This place is all about making money. On this particular day, YMCA offers 20 classes for it's guests , meanwhile Lifetime offers 11. Of course you have many other options that will cost you anywhere from $30.00 to $199.00.Meanwhile, at the pool, you can attend a aqua class. You will enjoy music so loud, that the instructor wont be able to instruct, she will be using some type of sign language. You wouldn't be able to hear it anyway, as It's open swim! Yes you can bring your children, they can scream and play during this class. And if you do decide you use a treadmill or other equipment, make sure you do not use the equipment reserved for the members who pay an additional fee, to get their "special" group session. Yes, there will be a group class on the exercise floor for you to enjoy. This will include very loud music, and a screaming instructor!Off to the hot tub we go, here youwill enjoy black mold. Children in the tub unsupervised, one kid was in his underwear. I also encountered this young man in the woman's shower, standing in the corner covering his eyes, per his mommy's instruction.I have been so blessed to encounter this after belonging to this club for a week.Off to the Y I go!

I attend high energy group fitness classes here and they are some of the best in the city, second only to SLP. The child care Center is attentive and courteous. Facilities are clean. Word to the wise, wipe any equipment, mats, or weights you use before and after - I'm not sure those ever get the deep clean they need.

Gym is nice, but like what everyone else wrote. They make cancelling membership hard, and of course, they will charge you an extra month as you leave. The staff don't care much about you. During my assessment/lab testing, the employee pricked me in the wrong area and couldn't get results. Afterwards he asked if it would be okay if we just didn't get results. I almost laughed. Not sure if all lifetime are this crappy, or if its just this one. Oh yes, and they continuously call, leave messages, and emails (even after 2 years later). Stay away (at least at this one), unless you don't mind throwing money away.

For many years this has been my most favorite Lifetime Fitness Club. The Energy here is great and young, compared to some other Clubs. The weights and equipment's are good and there is a variety.Steam Room is a Big Plus in this facility, Parking Space is big enough too and I never had any issues finding a spot even on the busiest days,I highly recommend this club.

Life Time gyms are great if your a stereotypical jock. This gym has no shortage of self centered, cruel, angry people and not to mention the pushy phone calls they can shove this up.. OH, never mind they probably enjoy it. If the clientele doesn't think you belong they have no problem expressing that in the locker room while your naked. I'm speaking from about five years experience this gym.

To be fair, I never had any dealings with the staff on the phone at this Lifetime; I merely visited the facility and thought it was excellent. The equipment was up-to-date and although at peak hours, I was still able to find a treadmill to myself. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Really like this lifetime and the large amount of windows letting light in.
