We love this place! My husband and I both enjoy working out at Longevity gym. Ben is supportive, and provides individual help to everyone. The workouts have a routine, but also change enough so they are never boring. People are friendly and we were surprised to see several people we knew already. So glad this is part of our Tuesday, Thursday routine!

The functional training classes for adults offered by Longevity Bloomington exceed expectations. Ben, the instructor, is a personal trainer and a physical therapist who is incredibly knowledgeable, tailors exercises to our abilities, and is VERY funny. The class fosters a supportive, joyous atmosphere, and as a 50+ female, I greatly appreciate the focus on strength, mobility and overall functionality. I walk in with a smile and leave with even a bigger one every single time. I highly recommend a fantastic exercise experience for anyone seeking effective and truly enjoyable fitness tailored to mature adults.

I have struggled most of my life to find an exercise class that meets my needs. I started at Longevity in August after a friend invited me. I couldn't be happier that I made that decision; this is hands down one of the best things I have ever done for myself! Strength training is crucial for our bodies as we age! I have met the most amazing group of people that I look forward to seeing every week! Ben is very knowledgeable about exercises appropriate for the aging body and is a great source of encouragement:) Before I found this class, I was having some back issues that I made Ben aware of. My back issues are gone and I'm so much stronger - it's a big WIN! If you are looking for an exercise class, I strongly encourage you to come try Longevity - you won't be sorry! Melissa Abram

This class is the perfect fitness opportunity for those of us in my age group. Ben has created a format that is very purposeful and helpful for our well-being. The variety of creative exercise used to enhance our balance, strength, cardio and flexibility is great!I have been involved in the class for over two years and feel much stronger and healthier. I have enjoyed less stiffness and aches. Ben's expertise, enthusiasm and watchful care creates a positive atmosphere for the entire class. it's disappointing if I have to miss.

This is an over-the-top review from a seventy-five-year old who HATES exercising more than anything in the whole world, until...............my friends convinced me to give Longevity a try. Still cannot believe I love going to class, working with a teacher who genuinely cares about every single one of us with all our ills, aches, pains, and insecurities. I have already convinced several friends to join, and they all agree! Just do it; what a gift to give your body!

I have been attending Longevity Bloomington for almost 7 months. Having a certified physical therapist/trainer (Ben Weller) is key for me. He knows our physical limitations, and works with us during every session to get the optimum individual workout. I recently had an automobile accident. Luckily I wasn't injured. The terrain was uneven, and I had to "hitch" a ride with the tow truck driver. 7 months ago I couldn't have gotten up into that tow truck as easily as I did, and it is because strength and agility workouts made all the difference in the world! I highly recommend this program. Terri K. 71 years young

Longevity Bloomington is one of those surprises in life. I hadn't been thinking about doing any such a thing. However, someone shared their experience and I decided to look into this idea of exercising. It's name sounded beneficial. After an e-mail I met with the instructor at the gym and he introduced me to some of the exercises I would be doing during any given workout. The class that I joined has steadily increased my strength, balance, agility and physical well-being, but has also increased my circle of experiences with good people. I am getting a workout that I would not get in my every day activities. It is hard, but we each work at our own pace. Our coach/instructor shows a genuine connection and concern for each and every one of us. He is invested in all of us. Come join us!mo

I look forward to my workouts at Longevity! Ben is encouraging, patient and knowledgeable. The community in class is so welcoming and helpful. I can feel the benefit of the workouts as I am stronger and steadier on my feet since I joined Longevity. Ben challenges me and modifies any moves that may be too difficult .I am so glad I decided to commit Longevity and a healthier happier me !

Ben is a great trainer! I was able to lift more weight than I did back in my Army days, with less soreness and no injuries. Ben knows how to train safely and effectively while also driving for results.

If there was an option to give more than five stars, I would. This is definitely the place for the age 50s and over. I’ve always been exercise “shy” but for some reason I keep going back.Ben ensures that every individual in class gets the help they need on the correct form of each exercise, and keeps each class varied, lively, and fun.Longevity not only keeps me moving but also sane! It’s become an important part of my life.
