I went for the first free session to try it out. I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff, very professional. I would love to subscribe to a membership there but I had issues with the foot straps on the row machine. The straps just weren’t strong enough to keep my feet from slipping out which was very frustrating because the row machine is 1/3 of the workout. I am also someone with bigger feet than most people so I imagine that has something to do with it but at the same time I’ve used many different row machines before and never had this problem. So, if you’re going to ask for $150 a month, I’m going to expect quality functioning equipment. Kind of a deal breaker for me.

Love how my workouts are never the same! There is such a sense of accomplishment after a class even if I wasn't too thrilled to walk through the door in the first place. I've met some great people in my classes and love the sense of community our studio has!

I have visited over 12 studios between the east and west coast. OTF Bloomington was truly one of the nicest studios I have visited. The studio itself with its equipment and facilities is well-maintained. The staff, from Lyle, the owner to the coaches I met and staff members, to even the members were all extremely nice and friendly. They all made my visit a true pleasure and I cannot wait to visit again!!!

I can’t say enough good things about OTF. Yes it is expensive, but I promise if you try it you’ll too be hooked. The workouts are ever changing and always push you, the members are amazing (truly become your workout fam), the coaches work just has hard as the members do and it shows. Everyone cares about each other and I feel at home each time I walk in. Give it a shot!!

I love Orange Theory! This is so much better than anything I’ve ever done. The atmosphere is so welcoming and gets me in the zone. The staff are incredibly friendly, as are the other members. The people here are truly like a family and I definitely feel like part of the family. Thank you Jamie for being an awesome instructor and keeping me on track during my first session.

The coaches are not just knowledgeable, but educated! At least one coach has her Master’s degree in a concentration that pertains to exercise. The coaches and staff know me by name, and can remember conversations we’ve had previously to check in and see how things are going. The overall experience feels very personal, because even on the floor I hear my name and I’m being cheered on. I also have orthopedic issues that prevent me from doing certain exercises, and the coaches are right there with modifications so that I can still get in a workout while maintaining safety. I’ve been to several Orange Theory Fitness facilities around the country, but none of them come close to comparing to the Bloomington OTF.

Orangetheory is the first fitness concept that resonated with me. The ability to track my results and challenge myself based on heart rate and past performance keeps me motivated. I'm the strongest I've ever been, in large part, because of the inspiring coaches at the Bloomington studio. My husband and I have been members for nearly two years, and I can't imagine life without our twice-weekly "date nights."
