I've been looking for a gym to join lately, because I've always done workouts at home, such as P90X and Insanity, and would like something different. The energy levels were very high here, great music which makes you want to move, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The place was clean, and I really liked the heart monitor aspect, it helped significantly with knowing how hard I was pushing myself, and if I could push harder. I felt like I got a great workout, and the instructions were relatively simple to follow once I was in the swing of things. Great mix and variety of exercises. I left feeling very energized and accomplished, ready to tackle the remainder of the day with gusto. What I didn't like, however, was the price. It costs around $60 for only 4 workouts in a month, I don't recall how much the 8 workout per month package is, and around $160 per month for the unlimited package. I don't know about other people, but I work out 4-5 times a week on average, so I'd have to purchase the unlimited package. 1-2 times a week for such high prices would feel like a waste to me. I can definitely appreciate the logic behind it, you don't appreciate what you don't pay much for, but this is the most expensive workout location I've yet encountered. Sure, there are goal points and heart monitors and scientifically-crafted workouts by big brains, but in the end, you're paying out the wazoo for nothing more than a really good cardio workout which burns a lot of calories. Personally, I don't think it was any more difficult than an Insanity workout, or some of the classes I've tried at the Y, (Which is only $35-45 per month and has a pool). 9Round is the same thing pretty much, although it's only 30 mins long and based around kickboxing, but still, it's all about burning calories. So, to summarize this here book I've written, I think the price is way too high for me, but it might be exactly what someone with no prior fitness experience needs. If you miss an at-home workout, or even a workout at your reasonably-priced gym, it won't hurt all that much financially, but if you're paying $160 per month, you're probably going to be much more motivated to get your posterior out of bed and go work out. It all comes down to the amount of motivation you require. I'd definitely recommend doing the free trial workout, it was a lot of fun, and will help you make a decision for yourself.

Orangetheory is a great workout facility. Every workout is different and always challenging as I am continuously competing with myself to get stronger & faster! The coaches hands down help make the workout routine something fun instead of something dreaded! You guys are doing a great thing here in Bloomington! Thank you!

Took my first class tonight and Anthony was our trainer. Great class, lots of energy, good support, and enjoyed the workout. Anthony did a great job keeping the 3 groups motivated and making sure my daughter and myself were doing all right with our first class. I would highly recommend the classes. I just wish the prices were more reasonable. I already pay $49 a month for the Y and the cheapest package is $59 for 4 classes a month. I wish it was in my budget because it is a great workout!

Orange Theory is a workout that truly pushes motivates EVERYONE. As a former athlete, I'm a very competitive guy and feed off the energy that is always there at OTF. It's even more motivating to see people on their journey for weight loss, train for for their first 5k, and the reasons could go on for forever. Most importantly, people leave experiencing something that scientifically works and leaves them feeling accomplished. People tell me it's been years they did something for themself which is super cool. Come sweat it out and join the fam 🙂🍊💪
