kids had fun, but reservations and check in were all screwed up and ended up costing more $$$

Great place. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Good way for kids to blow off some energy and good winter activity.

Received the worst customer service with an issue that we had. If you go here, you'd better hope you don't have any problems. They didn't care if they lost a customer and were unwilling to work with me.

Great gym, awesome staff. Tons of cool lead routes and a unique experience climbing in the silos. Wish this was my local gym

Great place for an afternoon. Fun workout, just wish there were more options for auto belay that weren't as close to each other. If they had an addition in the future that would be sweet.

We were a decent group with only one of us having been here before. We had a blast. This place is great for working out. I know I'm sore after climbing here. I did take a belay test and to be honest, I failed. Which I can understand why they failed me seeing as I never climbed like this before. They offered belay classes and I intend to take them. I definitely would love to learn more about rock climbing after coming here.

We have been coming to upper Limits for 5 years as a family. We now have a 14 and 11 year old along with my husband and I. We started our kids young and they love climbing! We love the unique climbing experience in the 60 foot silos with numerous top rope routes, lead climbing routes, auto belay routes, bouldering walls indoor and outdoors, and the always helpful and friendly staff! It has been a great place to workout and stay in shape for the outdoor climbing that we do.We recently took a lead climbing class ( myself, my husband, and 14 year old son) our daughter was too young. We had a great instructor who showed us how to safely belay, clip in, check the rope and our equipment and each other. The most exciting and kind of nerve wracking part of our class was when we had to take practice falls! We had to practice safely belaying during a fall and also falling ourselves over 15 feet to learn how to safely fall. I’ve never free fallen that far and it kinda rattled me, and I’ve done a lot of climbing! But it was great to learn and we were all so glad we did it! Our instructor was very thorough and knowledgeable. The staff at Upper Limits is always helpful and awesome! If you’re looking to start climbing or if you’re already a climber this place is a must see, they have something for everyone!

Great working with Scout Groups!

Dangerous. Holds spin and the staff will explain that it's normal and that they cannot do anything about it. Every session 2 or 3 holds spin on me. Spinning holds lead to uncontrolled falls. Today I almost hit one of the lights in the silos. Staff assured me that holds will always spin there and that it's part of climbing (I have never had this issue at other gyms). Despite the last 6 months of me expressing this concern, it remains a problem."A spinning hold could cause climbers to fall. Uncontrolled falling from a climbing wall could cause serious injury or death."-Three Ball Climbing

Overall not great. Not really sure what all the hype is about. Its super expensive, like $20 for just a day pass. Route setting was sub-par, but the silos are cool, and they have a large outdoor wall. Would not go again, but interesting to check out
