The best.Andy and the other coaches provide detailed instruction in an environment of serious focus on proper form and practice perfectly balanced with levity and social interaction. The age and ability range of the members make it way less intimidating and more inviting. On top of that, the variety of times the classes are offered and the flexibility of attending around my schedule make it even better. If not now, when? 💪🏽

TL:DR? Come for the great coaching: stay for the community!Boise CrossFit is easily one of the top gyms in the nation. I travel often for work, and going to other gyms makes me reflect on all of the things I love about BCF! I joined as an older adult (50!) after a years-long break from any kind of fitness, and have felt comfortable and welcomed at BCF.1) The coaching is excellent. I feel confident that no matter which class I am able to attend, a qualified and enthusiastic coach will be there to help me achieve my best in every workout. Each coach has a full understanding of the programmed movements, and will break them down for easier understanding, as well as offer appropriate scaled movements. I have super screwy shoulders, and the coaches are all excellent at answering my unending litany of odd questions, as well as correcting my form in a helpful way. They go out of their way to help me figure out which scaled option will work best for me. BONUS: all coaches have a great sense of humor, and will keep you smiling though the workout!2) The gym is SPOTLESS. Everything is clean and well organized.3) There is a thoughtful plan in place with each workout programmed. Over the course of a week, every muscle will receive attention.4) The community! This is no accident. The community has been thoughtfully cultivated. Through encouraging emails and texts from the owner, Andy, and partner workouts that make you reach out to others, this intentionality has created a supportive and enthusiastic community that makes you want to come back for more. Whether you are a person lifting 450lbs and training for a competition, or just starting out with the 15lb trainer bar, everyone is encouraged to do their best and celebrated for their accomplishments.5) Andy, the owner and head coach, is patient, methodical and meticulous. He also has an excellent sense of humor and understanding of people. He has created something extraordinary with Boise CrossFit.

Can't rave enough about the programming! Warm ups are specifically designed to get athletes ready for the workout of the day and I think that is huge! Helpful coaches and welcoming community :)

The coaches here at Boise are the best in Idaho, and among the best in the nation. They put so much work into teaching technique every class, every day.Andy is incredibly knowledgeable, and his dedication and care given to every member has made this my favorite gym.I have owned and run four CrossFit gyms, and I’ve taught seminars at more than 30 CrossFit gyms nationwide. I’ve visited more than 80 CrossFit gyms since 2008. I’ve been here at Boise CrossFit for over a year now, and I love it — the people, the programming, the coaching are all wonderful.

Discovered Boise CrossFit after checking out a few different CF gyms in the area. Hands down the best one out there :) Fantastic coaches, family like atmosphere, while still highly competitive.
