It's a pretty solid gym. They have everything you need and more, although not necessarily everything I'd want. Full line of hammer strength machines (some of the best cable-based machines on the market imo), some really great plate-loaded …

Save your money and go elsewhere. The customer service is horrible, if anyone is ever at front desk. Manager sits on the front desk and acts like a kid hanging out to workout there. Gym is unkept, dirty, machines are old and overpriced. Go to Axiom or anywhere else. If I could give no stars I would 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 …

Do not give your card information- will sign you up for contracts you didn’t sign, people urinating in sauna with no repercussions

They lied about the pool. I was told when i signed up in February that it was being renovated and it would be open in a few weeks. Still not open, no one can say when it will open. That’s not even the worst issue, the main problem with this …

I have been using this gym for 3 years now and would recommend it to anyone. It may not be the newest and fanciest gym around but the staff is fantastic, the various classes are fun, and the patrons are people of all ages and fitness levels. Their employees are always so friendly and answer all my questions with patience and expertise. I never feel like I am being judged by other people when I am there and it has a good relaxed vibe. Two thumbs up from this fitness enthusiast.

Nathan at Black Eagle is the best trainer I’ve ever had!

author-img

Nate is an excellent trainer with clearly years of experience. I've had several trainers in the past three either under work or over work me during my sessions, but Nate continuously assesses my progress and continuous to advance me at a great pace. I highly recommend him for your next trainer!

I just recently started going to the crunch off of state street. At first I liked it, but lately I’ve been noticing a lot of things that are making me rethink my membership. For starters, there are a couple employees who are rude and they just sit there all day. I have worked in the service industry and the same type of setting so I know they can’t exactly go upstairs for a long period of time. But at least clean the treadmills that are right next to the desk!! While I was running last night I noticed that there was a TON of dust in the treadmill fans that are just blowing at you. In addition, the paper towels had been out in the locker room for 2 days. And the bathroom fixtures are rusty and some of them are green? Some of the equipment barely moves because it’s so old and worn down. Definitely needs an upgrade. However, there are two girls there who are super friendly and always ask you how your day is going and don’t look like they’re bored out of their minds.

I just rejoined and tonight was my second visit and I’m already regretting it. It’s filthy and the locker rooms are gross/unclean. The overhear music and bass was so loud that I could hear it over my headphones turned up all the way. I asked the employee at the front desk if they could turn it down a bit. He was rude and turned the music UP. I’m not a fan of hearing the n*word over and over again set to loud rap music while working out. Very disappointing. Don’t sign up at this location.
