I’ve been working with Kevin in my home for 6 weeks. I’ve had other personal trainers before but none like Kevin. He does a great job and meets me where I am. I’ve had some major success and growing stronger everyday. Having him come to my home keeps me more accountable. I used to get gym memberships and then talk myself out of going. He’s here on time every time. No excuses, just get to work. He’s hilarious too, which makes the workouts more fun.

I’ve been a Nexus Fitness client for a couple of years, and though I’m a long-time gym rat, I’d still be undone if I didn’t have Kevin calling me to accountability three days a week. I’ve come to rely on his extensive knowledge of exercise science. He does the thinking; I just show up. I especially like his science-based approach, which means no pressure to buy supplements or eat animal products. I’ve trained with others, but Kevin’s focus on helping his clients achieve true health through strength, mobility, and balance keeps me looking strong and feeling great.

Kevin is awesome! As a business owner I was finding it extremely hard to find time to get to the gym. I work late hours so going to the gym in the evening wasnt going to happen and waking up early/having the motivation to drive to the gym wasnt easy. Then i met Kevin, having a trainer not only makes it much easier to get in a good workout in a short amount of time, but it provides you with a different sense of commitment than a gym. I have someone pushing me to do my best. Its so much easier to be commited to a person rather than a building full of gym equipment I dont know how to use. Kevin has helped me stay healthy and fit and can handle my early morning sass and rudeness 😂I will always recommend Kevin to anyone looking for a good workout.

Kevin is incredible! I first started working with him because I wanted to get in shape for my wedding and he was phenomenal about helping me meet my goal. I took a break from working with him because I thought I could maintain on my own - but I was way wrong. After gaining back what I had lost I started working with Kevin again and it's been the best decision I've ever made. I'm in the best shape of my life, I have someone who pushes me to be better but understands that I'm human, and I get to spend time with an all around great human who makes workouts the best time in my week. If you're looking for a personal trainer that cares about you, Kevin is definitely your guy.

Knowledgeable. Caring. Motivating. The first three words I would choose to describe Kevin. I reached out to Kevin for help because while I can go to a gym, I need help with consistency and push. It’s too easy to make excuses not to show up or not to work hard. Kevin gives both of those, accountability for consistency and motivation to work hard. All while making the experience fun, adding variety to the workouts and filling my brain with the science and “whys.”I can’t recommend Kevin highly enough.

If you are looking for a personal trainer who works to improve your weaknesses, pushes your strengths and makes you an all around better self then Kevin Scrima is your guy! I have been going to Nexus Fitness for about one year now and the results are amazing. I have a stronger core, more arm and leg strength, lifted and tighter glutes, stronger abs and because of that able to climb a rope ladder out of a 40’ hole faster than all the guys (even the young ones)!! Thanks Kevin for always putting up with my old self even on those days when I am kinda sassy ;)

My husband and I love Kevin. Not only is he a knowledgeable fitness expert, he is conscientious to the individual. I had back surgery a few years ago and although my husband and I train together, Kevin tweaks my workout slightly to accommodate my condition. We can't recommend Kevin enough!!
