Best Gym ever!! The best and most qualified coaches! High variety of classes... family and friendly environment. Wish I could rate 6 stars

Been to this gym for two years now, friendly people and a nice environment. They also have great MMA instructors, taking MMA sessions with Tyler, learned a lot but also having fun while training. Nice place for exercise after work if you work in this area.

Make sure you take a picture of your membership cancellation form. The gym might delay entering it into their computer system (in my case, by weeks) so they can charge you for an extra month. When you call to confront them it's tough luck because they "throw away the physical cancellation forms" with your signature and date, and you won't have any proof. The business owner actually asked me if I took a picture of the form as if I should have assumed they might have shady business practices. Truthfully, it was a good advice that I'm relaying to you now.Other than that, the gym was okay. Boxing and fitness classes were usually good, especially if you have an existing foundation in boxing and training -- I enjoyed the high intensity workouts -- but some of the instructors were novice, integrating advanced movements without emphasizing proper form in their demonstration to the class. Because of this, I often saw participants risking back injuries with the kettle bells and other types of weights. Instructors should consider getting a kettle bell certification if they are going to use them in classes. That said, some of the instructors (like Maryanne) were great and made the classes enjoyable. There was a high staff turnover during the couple years I was there, so I don't know who all is still there.I don't mean to totally bash the gym, these are just things you should know before joining. The staff and owner are mostly friendly, it's among the most solid workouts you can get in 60 minutes, and the have pride in what they do. And it's fun to build camaraderie and friendship w/ the regular class attendees. However, my overall experience was left wanting and culminated with the disturbing way they handled my cancellation when I moved away.

I've been a member here for a little over three years. The clientele is a surprisingly broad mix of people at all different levels of fitness and with different goals. Despite the name of the place, you shouldn't think of it as only an MMA gym. They cater to a wide variety of people. I suggest walking past the place in the evening on a weekday, the windows are huge so you can easily see what I'm talking about. The staff here is great, though I admit some of them look a little scary, they're all sweethearts and know what they're doing. The owners of the gym are regularly there and are constantly making improvements. It's clear that they care. They recently expanding the mat area that's used for various classes and expanded the locker room considerably.I've gone to a number of gyms over the years and tried personal training a few times. Tyler King at this gym is really the only one that has been effective for me. Not only is he extremely knowledgable, but he's the first trainer I've worked with who actually keeps my goals and my fitness level in mind on an ongoing basis. I recently had a medical issue where it wasn't comfortable to lay on my back and he readily adjusted my workout to account for that. I am 42 years old and in the best shape of my life. My husband of 20 years says I look better than I did when we first met.
