I have been going to Crossfit Sanitas since February. I walked in an out of shape but determined athlete and the coaching staff has helped me improve my skill level and fitness level to levels beyond my wildest dreams. I have been to a half dozen other gyms in Colorado and elsewhere, and without even factoring in the facility itself the coaching at Sanitas is second to none. They assure safety with every workout. Classes have a good coach to athlete ratio and feedback is plentiful. The daily WODS are always unique and build on each other. In the time I have been training at Sanitas, I have not once felt like I have been close to plateauing. The strength, olympic lifting, and mobility classes all provide additional avenues to get more out of your gym membership.By far the best part of Crossfit Sanitas is the coaching staff. The staff are enthusiastic about sharing crossfit with athletes and are very approachable outside of class.

Crossfit Sanitas is not just the "New Kid on the Block", but the new kid on the block with all the toys (showers, massage therapists, ice bath, child care, rope climbs, rings, turf for sprints,....) you want to play with, and the instruction manuals to play properly. The hardest part about getting in shape is consistently going to the gym, which is difficult when it seems like a chore. At Sanitias, you not only have an active family that supports each other, but you have the best environment to help you reach your goals. You'll make great friends and find yourself checking the website daily to find out the WOD, or to see how your new friends did. All of a sudden you'll notice the change. You can't wait to do that 17 min AMRAP or Fran. (You'll learn). Bam. You've become a crossfit athlete. You look forward to going to the gym, and it wasn't the cool-aide, kidding.I could talk for days about the gym, but if you want the best trainers, facility, and crossfit family, you need to check out Crossfit Sanitas.

Prior to CrossFit I was an endurance junkie. I competed in triathlons in undergrad spending about 15 hours/wk training. I was also doing yoga and playing pick up soccer. I loved it, but it was also exhausting. I was convinced that the more time I spent training, the faster I would be. Yet I was plagued by all sorts of minor injuries. Plantar fasciitis, IT Band Syndrome, lower back pain, turf toe, knee pain. etc. etc. When I graduated and moved I was no longer able to keep up that amount of training. All I could do was run, and run, and run. And hate every second of it. I ran 6x/wk for at least an hour. My knees and IT band hated me. I was gaining weight because I was still in the mindset of - I work out so long that I can eat whatever I want. Needless to say I was unhappy with how I felt and how I looked.I moved to Boulder in December and was looking for a gym to join so that I could stop running so much. I saw CrossFit Sanitas was opening up and immediatley decided to go in for a free class. I had previously tried CrossFit out for a month a year before and had really enjoyed it.I was hooked immediately. For the six months I spent in Boulder, I lived at CrossFit Sanitas. The coaches and owners have created such a great community that exudes so much positive energy that I couldn't stay away. The coaches are diligent in correcting form, which I really appreciated, because I injur myself just walking down the hall. Being new in Boulder, CrossFit Sanitas was a fantastic way of getting to know people who I had things in common with. The coaches and athletes were all SO welcoming and encouraging. I never felt like I was being judged or that I wasn't up to par.I also really loved the ongoing discussion on the importance of nutrition at CrossFit Sanitas (be it Paleo, whole foods, or just less processed food) and the emphasis on getting stronger rather than losing weight. Having struggled with body image/weight for my whole life, this approach has worked out much better for me and I have developed a much healthier relationship with my body than I used to.Joining CrossFit Sanitas was one of the best decisions I have made for my body. I love how CrossFit is so challenging and dynamic. I am PRing on a regular basis. I can do more pullups now than I came even close to when I was 13, 30 lbs lighter, and a full time swimmer. I do fewer hours of cardio, yet find that I am faster. I have developed muscles in places I didn't even know muscles could exist. Most of all I love how it has brought fun back into my exercise regime. I now look forward to every time I get to do CrossFit, which makes all the difference in the world.I have since left Boulder and joined another CrossFit gym, but CrossFit Sanitas will always be my first CrossFit love <3

I started working out at Crossfit Sanitas in January of this year. In 4 months, I already am seeing drastic results in my overall health, and body, energy level (and with being a nanny to 4 kiddos, I need much of it :)). This month, Crossfit Sanitas is doing a 30 day paleo challenge, and 24 days in, I am in the best shape and health I've ever been in. I love working out there, the coaches are excellent, the equipment and facility is top knotch, and I look forward to going in every day. I would definitely recommend giving Crossfit Sanitas a try, you wont be disappointed.

I started Basecamp in January and was instantly addicted. I was very impressed by the level of coaching and the community that CrossFit Sanitas has. We did a fitness test the first class and by the end of Basecamp I had improved a lot.If you've never done CrossFit before, the variety in the workouts is great, especially if you are someone who gets bored easily. Each workout has a warm up, overview of the skills needed for the workout and the workout. Afterwards there is a cool down and recovery. The coaches are very attentive to make sure your form is good. The facility is amazing - big, bright and lots of natural light. As it's new, so is all the equipment. It's a great place to come and workout and I look forward to it every day.Definitely awesome.

I've been to over 20 CrossFit gym in the past 3 years, and to at least 50 health clubs over the past 20. This experience led to CrossFit Sanitas - the first gym to blend the best of both - fantastic CrossFit workouts w/ all the health club amenities (locker rooms, massage, child care, etc). It also has the best CrossFit coaching I've experienced, and a fantastic 10,000 square foot facility just W of 28th street on Arapahoe. (disclosure - as the owner, I'm just a bit biased!)

Crossfit Sanitas is an excellent gym with an advanced level of coaching. Since my recent move away from Boulder, CO I've toured a variety of other Crossfit boxes and I realized how high my standards are when I compare all of them to Sanitas. The head coach of the gym, Caleb Diebolt, has a wealth of knowledge that is liberally shared with all the other coaches. Individual safety, efficient movement technique, and effective programming are top priorities as the entire staff makes an honest effort to treat every athlete as part of their friendly community. The most memorable characteristic of the Sanitas coaching team would definitely be their ability to recognize that every individual has a unique set of physical challenges. Whether its a mobility issue in the joints, a diet inquiry, or a movement pattern problem, the coaches are willing to discuss these personal barriers and help decide how best to address and work through them.

I have been working out at Sanitas for a month and have already seen a change. Its a great place. I can honestly say that I am excited about going to the gym. I feel a sense of accomplishment when I finish a workout. Definitely worth a try. There is amazing motivation from the coaches and they really help with form and function. The base camp they offer is a great starting point because they walk you through many keys things in Crossfit. You shouldn't feel intimidated - everyone in base camp is in the same place as you. Check it out.

I started training at CrossFit Sanitas about 6 months ago. In that time, I have made huge gains in my fitness, strength, and self confidence. The coaching staff at CF Sanitas is the best I've had in my athletic career. They have helped me to push myself to be the greatest athlete I can be while keeping a priority on safety and technique. They understand that everybody is different and do a great job at catering to individuals strengths and weaknesses. The cold tub and onsite massages are also some of the great amenities that the box offers to its athletes. The community at CF Sanitas is awesome and keeps me motivated day in and day out.
