I started going to Mecha in 2018. I was a long-distance runner and yogi at the time but wanted to start building strength and didn’t know where to start. Mecha became my home shortly after - the Resistance classes *healed* my hip injuries and the Cardio+ classes took my outdoor adventures to the next level. Now, as an instructor, I get to see the behind the scenes. There is so much care that goes in to making Mecha a welcoming place and a source of education. Plus, we get to work with the coolest clients. I could not ask for a better place to teach!

I've been going to Mecha for 4+ years and always get a lot out of the resistance classes. The focus on working the stabilizing muscles to fatigue makes my body feel strong against injuries. Everyone is super friend and welcoming.

When I moved to Boulder I was afraid there wouldn't be a great megaformer studio, and so I was SO happy and relieved to find Mecha. The vibe and staff are welcoming and warm, and the classes are great and always challenging. And, to top it off, I almost always bump into someone I know in class. Mecha is the perfect way to stay in shape for all the Boulder activities we all do and love.

I’ve done similar classes at studios in other big cities, and Mecha is my favorite studio of all of them. It is an amazing and very challenging workout that pushes me in ways I won’t push myself! The instructors are all so enthusiastic and helpful, and you feel like you are immediately welcomed in. The sunny, airy studio is both energizing and relaxing, and I feel like I’m mentally and physically recharged after every class. I love Mecha!!

I recently purchased Mecha's new client package (3 classes for $35). My first class was the "resistance" class, a modern form of traditional pilates using different machines and techniques. The class was quite challenging, but in a fun and unique approach to building muscle and endurance. The instructor, Noelle, was welcoming and helpful with orienting me to the class flow, machine, and moving with correct form. The studio is clean, appears well run, and has a great vibe. I am looking forward to taking my second class this weekend - strength and cardio. All workouts are low impact, which is perfect for those of us with occasional knee issues. If you are looking for a new and different way to move your body, give Mecha a try!

MECHA has been the best workout. All the instructors are so kind and helpful and the workouts are challenging, low impact , and suitable for any level. It’s a really inviting environment and I can feel myself getting stronger after each class! Would recommend to anyone- love having two locations to pick from as well

Great workouts. It's not easy to distract you from how hard you're working for an hour, but they do a really good job of making it go by fast. :-) And nice facility and location.

MECHA got me out of a serious workout rut that began during the pandemic lockdown. The classes are super-challenging and also fun and satisfying. I am working out in ways that I haven't for years, and strengthening muscles that I have not routinely used in years (if ever). The instruction/instructors are excellent and always includes modifications to meet me where I am at on any given day. The combination of Cardio classes and Resistance classes provides almost everything needed for an ongoing, baseline fitness routine. Customer service, in my experience, has been excellent too!

I used to like their classes and they say injury friendly but lately when I struggle the instructors don’t notice or offer adjustments. I used to mention I was postpartum and they’d sometimes offer other positions to hold when the exercise was halfway over so I have to just come up with my own options most of the time. The exercises are so wrist heavy which just doesn’t work for me so I often have to “sit out” exercises when some instructors don’t understand that not everyone in the room is fully functional. My body has been through hell this year and I was excited to come to Mecha to try and regain my sense of self after multiple hospitalizations from injury, tough labor, and then childbirth recovery and honestly I can only do a fraction of the classes which is fine but I then had another injury and while I understood my classes would all rollover, they were all cancelled so I threw away over $150 while I thought I could use those classes later. It was the last straw for me and I’m going to find a new workout because I don’t feel welcomed there anymore.

I've been extremely happy with this studio. Great teachers, impactful workouts, and clean space.
