Excellent community. Low snootiness factor. Best route setting west of the Mississippi.Almost entirely bouldering. They reset at least one area every week and sometimes the entire gym for fairly frequent competitions.

I'm not an avid boulderer, but the few times my roommate has taken me I've really enjoyed The Spot. There are tons of routes and they get changed up regularly so finding a new problem is never hard. The atmosphere is chill yet focused with a mix of pros to beginners and all of the interactions I've had with others have been positive. It's awesome watching the really good climbers zip up routes and make it look easy! There's a nice workout area upstairs too with a couple of stationaries, bars, and freeweights.

Sick gym with character. Lots of problems, with new sets every week. Fun, dynamic setting style. Also a nice training area with a few hang boards, a systems board, and two campus boards. Staff is also really friendly, and there's a stack of local guidebooks and beer on tap at the front desk.

Good routes even for beginners or those who haven't climbed in a while. They are pretty expensive if you are a university student the CU climbing gym is a better deal unless you are a super serious climber. Overall I had a good experience but bring a friend I was there for an hour and only talked to 1 person briefly so not the most open community of people but it could have been they day I was there on Christmas eve

Amazing routesetting by some of the best. I learned to climb at The Spot, so I know they're awesome to beginner climbers and they've kept me busy with some nice projects every time I've been around Boulder since.Great unique walls, best gym cave I've climbed in and all types of climbing spread throughout. Next time it's too hot or too cold for Flagstaff, go to The Spot.

If you want to take on all levels of Bouldering... The Spot is the place to go. The prices are generally good, with frequent discounts on, say, Friday afternoons.Usually it's not too crowded to enjoy, and the routes are changed weekly - so if you master a route one week, you can come back and it will have changed quite significantly!

I've been climbing here for 6 years as of 2017, and it never gets old. The routes change regularly, and the setters always show great creativity. I also love the height of the bouldering walls. Good selection of workout equipment as well. The one minor critique I have is that the locker room could use some better ventilation (and getting rid of the carpet would be great), but it's not a big deal. Overall I'm a huge fan.

THE place for indoor bouldering in Boulder. Super friendly staff, lots of interesting climbers for company, and all the gym equipment you could ask for.

Best rock climbing around. Consistent refreshing of routes. Good community and a reasonable price.

My forearms have never looked better. Reasonable membership price, nice people and great membership benefits. This is a boulder institution.
