Perfect if you want a decent gym open 24/7. However it is a bit old and members have no re-racking etiquette. So you’re going to have to really search to get the right plates. Very heavy on machines. Also, no water fountains so bring water or fill up at the sinks. I still give it 5 stars because it really was an unbeatable price for the amenities.

Great gym. Has everything you need for a full workout. Lots of space to exercise. Women’s only room is large and also has everything you need for a full workout.

Nice gym. Good equipment that's kept in shape and working. Showers and bathroom are large and clean and kept up. I do appreciate the individual spray bottles and rags for each member at check in as opposed to just 1-2 bottles spread out the entire gym and no paper towels.

If you are a non-nonsense lifter looking for a broad array of equipment, this place is ideal. Now, I am not a member, but have occasionally visited the gym numerous times over, oh, maybe a decade. The review is given from an "outsider perspective."While this gym offers (apparently) many different fitness offerings, I have always appreciated it for being a bit of an "old school weights gym."I have been a competitor in both strength and bodybuilding competition for decades. I bring that experience to my assessment of any gym. My interests therefore, are not based on high degrees of customer service and amenities, but rather based on the basic ability to conduct a decently wide range of weights exercises. For those purposes, this gym scores well. They have power racks and deadlift platforms and competent set-ups for powerlifting, Oly, and CrossFit-style training (rubber plates, boxes, etc.). Yet where they shine is weights, weights, weights. A wide range of machines from hyper-specified to "what I'd expect," and lots of HEAVY weight.Honestly, this gym feels (in the best possible way) like an older school vibe. It makes you want to "get intense" and just work.I have often said that you can tell a hard working gym based on the clutter. NOT being unorganized or sloppy, but rather just having lots and lots of "stuff" all over the place. This usually means a gym where people work, where there's lots of options, and the members are dedicated to the task at hand. This place feels that way. Now, if you need a pristine locker room, well, you may be a little too fragile for this place. While things generally seem clean enough, there is a lot of wear and tear, older carpets, and you can tell it is not refreshed often. If these things interrupt your ability to train hard well, you won't appreciate it. If you're someone comfortable with giving up a little bit of tidiness in exchange for an aggressive gym mood, well, you won't be bothered in the slightest.I am not a member, but here and there come down from Boston to train. This is one of the few 24-hour gyms left, and my schedule is sometimes off what city gym hours offer. I also like the no-pretense, nothing faux-fancy vibe. And I ALWAYS prefer to support mom-and-pop gyms, especially when hey are preserving that olds chill "weights palace" vibe, which they do here unapologetically.I come. I train. I feel good. It would be easy to nitpick, but somewhat pointless to cast an overly-critical eye on what is a "get what you get" place of simplicity yet options. I am glad this place stays open. Worth the trip out of your way if you're just looking to train, need late hours, and don't get all flustered by working-class lifting spaces that aren't trying to be fake posh. This gym is just consistently being what they are: a place to train with a range of options, generous hours, and tons of space, especially for those with a "lifter's mentality" who are comfortable self-structuring and doing their own thing.

Sauna, big locker room lots of machines and free weights, boxing room and good boxing coach. (Coach cox). The other one isn't the friendliest (coach Mike). I have been in there a few times and have seen how he trains his younger students. Not very professional with the language and rudeness. Very impatient...anyways they have a track above the gym itself like a balcony one. Only 4 stars because it's 15$ a guest pass which can get pricey. Overall clean place.

I have been coming to this gym for about a year and a half. It’s a great gym friendliest people here kind of like a gym family! Depending on hours you arrive. The staff here are super friendly and more than welcome to help you with any questions! Alex and Matt are awesome people to talk to Matt is definitely a knowledgeable trainerI gave a 4 star out of 5 only because some of the Equipment here could be a little outdated some do need to be replaced.I do wish we had equipment that were newer and a bit more modern to todays world. Otherwise it’s overall a great gym! Love it!Gym membership is the best deal your going to get $15-$25 depending on the plan you choose! They have protein shakes for before your workout and after! They sell waters and pre workouts and some protein bars!

I called to book swimming lessons for my kids. A staff member said he would take my information and I will get a call back from the instructor Wyatt. It took almost a month of calling every other day before I lost my cool because I never got a call back. The worst part is that the manager was definitely not helpful AT ALL. When I explained that Wyatt never returned my calls, he didn’t care at all and didn’t apologize. He was also very unfriendly as well. I think it’s very odd that the manager doesn’t hold his staff accountable for their actions and I also think it’s odd for the swimming instructor Wyatt to not return calls. I had a couple of other moms who were going to have swimming lessons with Wyatt but after telling them my story, they helped me find another place for children swimming lessons that we all go to now and ALL of the staff there are extremely friendly and professional!

Been a member for about 4 years. Yes if you looking for new equipment and higher class gym this is not a place for you. BUT if you are looking for results and want to exercise in a very good environment I would defiantly recommend this place. Yes the machines are not new but you can see that they are used for a purpose. People are working hard on their goals and achievements. I never understood gyms that charge arm and a leg but their machine are never used by anyone. At this gym you can ask anyone for help or advice. Members are very friendly.

By far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Many reviews here note the dirty facilities and broken machines, all of which are true. What really stuck out to me was the horrific owner Tom and his lack of basic human decency.Last year for work I had to move and cancel my membership, but at the same time had my identity stolen and had to replace all my cards. I went to the gym in person and cleared my balance as well as paid a cancellation fee with my new card. I hadn’t had any communication with the gym and by all accounts though I’m all set.Now fast forward to 3 weeks ago, about 7 months later, I got a collections letter from an agency via the gym. Apparently in their policy they also charge an extra month ($30) post-cancellation and they were trying to charge my old card and obviously couldn’t.When I called several times over the last 3 weeks, every time I’m told I need to speak with Tom directly and they’ll have him call me when he’s in. Of course, he hasn’t called back and he probably doesn’t plan to.Also, the collections letter was for $150 somehow even though I was only supposed to pay 1 additional month. Unfortunately, I think it’s probably easier and less of a headache to just pay this off than to have to deal with this owner. I’ve learned an expensive lesson to read the reviews before I sign my name on any contract. Stay away at all costs.
