As a senior, I didn't feel comfortable in this gym. When I tried to cancel, they talked me into staying and scheduled one of my free training sessions. It was cancelled the day of the session, and I was never rescheduled. When I again tried to cancel, they said since I had put a freeze on my membership, I would have to pay several more months fees (I DID NOT FREEZE MY MEMBERSHIP). I finally was able to cancel but had to pay a cancellation fee and another monthly fee. Beware and read your contract and ask questions!

I love this gym and the variety of work outs available. The customer service is top tier. Ashley always greets me with a smile and is available to answer any questions I might have. The people that attend are nice, helpful, and inclusive. All around, top notch gym. I highly recommend.

If you have not tried High Fitness with Ashley, YOU MUST!!! She is so fun and so energetic and gives options for all levels of fitness! She centers the classes and music around holidays, which makes it even more fun! I burn at least 300 calories every single class!! After a class, I look forward to when I can go again! Thank you, Ashley, for all you put into your classes!!

The gym is decent and staff is nice. The main complaint I have is the sauna. I don’t think it has ever been cleaned. Needs to be completely redone. Or they should put one in the men’s locker room like Lifetime.

Such an amazing environment! They help more than get over fear in the gym, and no one is hesitant to help. They work with you, trainer goes beyond their work to help you. Recommend this place and this location highly! The prices are worth it.

Been coming here for the past year and other locations prior to this off and on for the past 10.The good:Very friendly staff and members. You can basically talk to anyone or they will leave you alone to workout, so all in all a good gym culture.Plenty of squat racks with the inclusion of the new area and a good area for more dynamic workouts. The yoga classes with Rebekah on Wednesday are very good and have become a part of my weekly routine.“Sales” staff aren’t pushy. They pretty much tell you straight forward like it is. Most times you can wait a week or so and “new promotion” will come around waiving fees to enroll, admin fees etc.The bad:In my opinion overall rather dirty and old. Yes, there are team members that go around and vacuum and mop intermittently and wipe down the equipment but that seems to be the extent of things. There has been a green piece of chewed up gum on the bench in the sauna next to the wall vent for over the past month. It’s my sauna buddy at this point and I’ll be sad to see him go. If he ever does. Lots of dirt and just overall grime underneath the benches in the sauna as well. The heat, moisture from sweat and low light makes this a bad (or good i guess) situation for bacteria growth and I wouldn’t recommend going in without shoes. Needs mats taken out and deep cleaned which I have never seen done before. Most of the cardio equipment is “sticky” to the touch where you place your hands. Not sure if this is from cleaner or what but it is offsetting.A lot of the weights and machines are pretty old and have pieces missing or are breaking down.Overall it is an “ok” gym. Wouldn’t call it a health club at this point as it doesn’t stack up to other health clubs let alone the other locations in town it seems like. While I appreciate the new fancy lights going in, at this point it is more like putting lipstick on a pig and I can’t help but think about how the money could be better spent distributing to the cleaning or maintenance crew to do some much needed deep cleaning projects and maintenance. I already know it’s up to me, but if it’s dirty it’s also up to you (Genesis) to help facilitate my fitness goals.Edit 1: it has been 4 weeks since original review and gym is still in sauna

Mathew was extremely helpful in explaining the terms of my membership, very transparent about the cost and had patience for my million and one questions. I appreciate the professionalism and friendliness I’ve received as a new member and I look forward to a long relationship with this facility. Kids room was super neat, my two daughters had a great time.

I enjoyed the variety of amenities available at this gym. My favourite part was the community vibe in Brandi's group power class, the big locker rooms, and to see shakes available. I envision the gym getting a remodel within 5 years. Sadly the shower was cold, but I suppose cold showers are good for us. Overall, I'd go back but also may check out other gyms in the meantime.Matt seems like a legend on the Genesis team, a great first interaction point for new clientele.

love the broken arrow location! always feel welcomed and the equipment is amazing and clean. a few months back i lost some gold rings, come to find out Matt Whitesell had been keeping them safe and just waiting for the owner to come pick them up. not only was my stuff safe he also graciously helped me with some billing concerns and was able to lower my monthly rate all together.
