John and G.Y.M. are great! Good people, good atmosphere, and great training plans. The app makes things easy to track too. John even helped me work through a shoulder injury that I had before joining. Pain was relieved, range of motion was back, and shoulders were noticeably stronger within 8 weeks.

Joining G.Y.M and training with John was the BEST thing I could have done for myself postpartum. I have never liked the gym, but I truly feel like I found a place I fit and fits my lifestyle with 2 little ones. It’s clean, quiet, person centered and John is wonderful.

I went to this gym close by my home because my doctor ordered me to get some exercise and suggested that I lift some weights. I have worked as a hairstylist 41 years. I have stood 8-12 hours a day behind the chair. I had muscle cramps daily in my ribs and my legs. My back and shoulder muscles were so tight I could hardly lie flat on the floor. I just went to the gym because I wanted to feel better and be more flexible.THEN.. I met John the trainer of thisG.Y.M. (Get Yourself Moving)I went 3 days a week. Slowly he walked me through the process of stretching to see what I could do. I was tight everywhere and fearful of doing squats because of the pain it caused my knee. I could not even do core exercises for the first 3 months because of constant muscle spasms.But. John coached me along to try squats a different way that did not hurt my knee. I started lifting weights and slowly I began to feel better. It has been almost 5 months and I am lifting weights and finally able to do core exercises without all the muscle spasms. Recently I discovered the true benefits of the foam roller that broke up the scar tissue in my bad knee. My fears of my knee getting worse by exercise was not true. The fact is my knee was getting worse because I was doing nothing. I was protecting it because of my job. I hardly have pain in that knee anymore since I started to work out. I am not a person who goes to the gym, but I have to say what John has done for me feels like a miracle.

The best gym experience. Small, never overcrowded, very nice people. Owner, instructor, nutritional expert works out with you and is always there full time Monday through Friday to assist you with your program. Highly recommended!
