This has been a great place to help with staying healthy ... especially as a senior citizen that still has to work full time. I've appreciated being able to come early in the morning. The club is not packed like in the evening and you can get through a workout routine in a short amount of time. However, they are now in the process of discriminating against us with a cavalier attitude that lacks dignity and respect. We don't understand how you would gain more profit by eliminating 1000 seniors at your Fridley location. We don't understand how you think we are taking up so much space in the early morning hours.Your "new program" of limiting our hours unless we pay the additional $80 to $100/month for full access could end up financially hurting you.We could all leave and you are out $30,000/month.We understand you are a business that needs to make a profit ... but on the backs of senior citizens with limited resources and of which many still have to work? How did Chris Lichtenberger sign his email to us ... "In Health" ... what an oxymoron.

I love this location & Life Time in general! I joined only a few months ago and it already feels like a second home. Only request / area of opportunity would be for more plant-based (high-protein) options in the cafe, pretty please 😀 …

This location almost feels like an LA fitness. The AC doesn’t work, so it’s hot here. The lifting area smells like B.O. The lifting area is humid. In the stretch area, one of the bars they have available to help you stretch, is just a PVC pipe. The locker rooms smell of bad B.O. as well and is hot and humid. There are some nicer things like basketball courts, pool, track and other courts, but the main lifting area is just not fun.Glad I only have to go here for a week, otherwise If this was the only lifetime around me, I’d drop it and go to LA fitness and save the money.

There's so many non English speakers here; I don't fit in anymore. Off hours - consider yourself alone unless you wear a hijab or speak Somali. I consider quitting every time I go there, but I stay only because it's a half mile from my house.

Gross environment at least in the weight room downstairs. Folks leave equipment all over, don’t wipe down their sweat, floors are dirty and continuous foul language.I barely got a workout in and had to leave b/c of the stench. Just plain gross!!

Don't bother, save your money and go elsewhere. The staff are friendly, but you'll maybe see 1 or 2 while there. The facility isn't that great. They can't be bothered to keep the place at a comfortable temperature, or upgrade their HVAC system to do so. But it's not like that'd help as they'd hike up the already ridiculous membership fee - $99/mo for new members. For Fridley? Don't do it.The same weight machines are always broke, makes me think they don't bother to truly fix them, or won't upgrade to a more sturdy version. Not to mention the other gym members. I understand that people are showering and changing, but wandering the locker room naked with your towel in your hand, or no towel at all, is just inappropriate, especially when some people bring their children into the locker room. Too many of them just sit around on the lifting machines instead of actually lifting them. People don't bother to wipe down their machines after using them, even when the club actually makes sure they're stocked up on disinfectant wipes.I don't see what's worth me spending $75 each month on. I know I wouldn't even bother with this location if it wasnt the closest and I didn't get a discount from my health insurance. They were converting all the lockers to combination locks, but seemingly gave up after doing most of them, but with the new locks it's not like you can tell which ones are even available, not to mention there's a scary amount of reviews reporting stolen items from lockers.Try another location, or just a different chain completely.

My wallet was stolen on June 27 in the men's locker room at this location! It's terrible experience -- the member(s) in this club steal other member's money, credit card(s) and Identifications!! It's really really bad!!!

Five stars for Joseph at the lifespa, he gets my hair right everytime and he is very style conscious. A true artist.

So, I was an employee there and while I was employee, I did go against protocol for something and was fired. However, my manager said she'd have done the same thing because of the safety of the kid who was involved. Fun fact, my manager left shortly after that incident too. So, look, work out there all you want and give your money to a greedy CEO all you want to - I'll stick to my morals and values.

Joseph at the Lifespa is a life saver. I was getting my workout in and had a big client opportunity I needed to get right for. I was leaving the gym and was literally rushing to google barbershops so I could rush to get a haircut done before appointment with client. As I was walking out I caught a glimpse of Lifespa and stopped in my tracks. I walked in asking if they had availability and I was surprised that they did! Joseph did such a great job with the haircut. He really takes pride in his craft. Not only that but his customer service was phenomenal. Sets the standard with his care and his questions to make sure things are going how I wanted them to. Crazy to think I may be looking to get my haircuts at Lifetime moving forward but he definitely earned it with a job well done and a great experience.
