Apparently, my review of this place was somehow deleted, so I'm posting again. These people made cancelling my membership nearly impossible when I had to move out of the country. They told me cancellation can only be done between 9 am and 5 pm and only by a special kind of manager. This special manager seems to be a mythical creature who never appears; I only ever met the regular manager.Be prepared to waste hours or even days trying to cancel. It might be easier just to cancel your credit card altogether.

You don’t dare perspire on that place. Freezing cold. Never been in a gym that blasted cold. More people wear sweats than tanks. Ridiculous. Worst gym I’ve ever been to.

Always clean , good music…They need to go back to hanging signs, “your mother doesn’t work here put weights back”..Other than that, great overall experience

Great equipment better then Brooklyn center bust since the remodel it feels like they don't have air conditioning. I don't want my gym at 70. I'm lifting I don't want stuff to slip out. Crank that a.c. to 60 and no heat in the winter. Your cold... To bad workout and you'll warm up.

Good place to work out. It's not the nicest LA Fitness that I have been to, but it is in a decent area. The gym was recently updated with 4 new squat racks with deadlift platforms. They have strange bumper plates with not enough on each rack. They have a large area for turf and stretching. Some positives are that there are a ton of flat benches, and the dumbells go up to 125s with plenty of dumbell benches. Overall, it's a good gym if you can get it for a cheap price.

The good: Overall a good facility to work out. The equipment is a little older but still in great shape. They just remodeled so there is more rooms for the free weights. Lots of cardio equipment. The bad:The bathrooms are a nightmare. The stalls are falling apart. Multiple urinals are it of order... You'd think after a multi-million dollar renovation, they would have addressed the basic bodily functions... As long as your there to work out and can hold your water you'll be fine. There are machines that are not functioning on the second floor. The trainers are capable but their management and scheduling is a joke. Currently the only way to schedule a trainer is impossible to use and customer service is, so far, non existent. I'm gonna stop there so I don't make this a personal attack, but overall I recommend sticking to a basic membership to work out and don't expect too much from the staff.

You guys got rid of the good isolateral chest press and isolateral bicep curl and the quality pec fly machines and pushed all the machines way too close together. The sweat from the person on the machine next to me lands on me. for what? Astro turf? Will be switching to a different club.

I have had nothing but a negative experience. The team they have working there isn’t trained in their own policies. I have been trying to cancel my membership for 2 weeks. I was told I had to do it in-person and couldn’t do it over the phone. I go to the gym, told I can’t do it on the weekend and had to come back (I confirmed several times when I spoke to the person on the phone). But then stated the gym will be closing for 2 weeks so had to do it by Monday but they are only available 9-5 pm in-person. Not sure how anyone who works can make that timeframe. I have been told so many different things. Don’t recommend unless you want a run-around.
