Fabulous. Had gotten away from yoga with covid, started back this January. I am an old guy, 67 but pretty fit. Love the power yoga, gives me the flexibility I need and also great cardio. Extra special during the winter months or when there are storms and I can't exercise outside easily. Had to learn that with my knee I can't do the up and down flow as quickly as the young folks, the instructors are great about reminding us that we all need to follow what our bodies need. I had to chill out and remember that it is not a competition, that is my issue not PYB's. Every instructor gives you something, and over time they change their classes just enough, perhaps concentrating on a particular area for one or two classes, something you may want to incorporate into your practice. I live out of town but am in Buffalo working 2 weeks a month, love this place, it is one of the great things about working here in Buffalo.

Power Yoga Buffalo is the best in Buffalo. Every instructor, and class, has something special to offer. The flexible schedule allows for easy booking when you want/need it. I took my first class with Kate today and she was attentive, knowledgeable and funny. A trifecta you don't find everyday!

Wonderful studio!! I have been practicing yoga on and off for 10 years. Since finding PYB I have totally recommited to steady practice because I absolutely love it. I have had probably half the instructors and they are all great and all have their own class style. The class times are great for my schedule, I could go to at least one every day if I wanted to. The studio spaces are beautiful. Note, this is hot, power yoga - I burn as many calories as I do on a 3-4 mile run. There are also all levels in every class- always someone's first time to people you can't even believe what they are doing. Very inspirational.

Heated power yoga is not for everyone. If you are expecting a slow paced class that does not test your boundaries and comfort zones, then look else were. I love when I arrive at the Elmwood location for a course. You walk into a beautiful building with a winding old wooden stair case, greeting you as you enter. Walking up the spiral stair case leads you to the practice spaces. Each one having different advantages.Every time I leave the studio, I feel stronger, grounded, and joyous. No matter how hard the class gets, the instructor reminds you to go at your own breath pace. You do not need to feel intimidated by others in class, we are all there to work on ourselves. Do what feels best for you! Remember to also bring plenty of water. Thank you power yoga buffalo for always bringing the light back into my life.

I know a lot of people love this place, but I'm just not a fan of hot yoga. I think the heat makes you think that you're more limber than you are and encourages people to stretch past your limits. I'm also concerned about bacteria (when I when i was in Shavasana the instructor got up to adjust the thermostat and dripped on me **shudder**). Classes are also packed and people are practically on top of each other. Unless they start to offer regular temperature classes in a separate room from where the hot yoga occurs, I probably won't return. Again, if hot yoga is your thing great, but just not for me :)

Molly was not very friendly and singled me out when I was doing poses at my own pace- making an analogy to “parking a car on the street and never coming in” because I was not doing a certain pose and instead taking a quick rest. When I was doing the bicycle pose too fast she asked me if “I was running from the cops.” Yoga is supposed to be at your own pace- and the only place I want to run away from is this studio. She displayed favoritism to other students in the front row but never went out of her way to help me. I gave this studio one star because the workout was challenging. I was appalled and will never come back to this studio. Thank god my class was free from classpass.

I was only in town for 2.5 days but I needed my yoga fix for PT and mental clarity. I decided to try the Power Hour class at Power Yoga and have no regrets. Brendan, the instructor, was welcoming and fun. Most importantly, it was a great flow class and the music rocked. They have mats for rent and mat towels. The studio is in the top level of a former house. The modern interior touches compliment past details like the beautiful winding wood staircase. The only tricky thing to note is that you enter through the side of the building. An experienced yogi myself, I can say Power Yoga is worth it whether you're a local or just visiting.

We were in town for a couple of weeks and decided to try their 10 day beginner package. It has been 6 days and I haven't missed a day. I am a complete yoga newbie but all the teachers have been really helpful in guiding me. Friendly students as well.
