My daughter and I had a fantastic day out at Bolton with Andrea developing skills and gaining experience. Andrea was a superb instructor with a joyful, relaxed attitude. She has a huge base of knowledge and vast experience to tap. We couldn't have asked for a better person to guide us and just enjoy being with.

We hosted our 6 year old’s birthday party, he’s never climbed before, and it was a total blast! The instructor was excellent. We had a group of 13 kids and every single one of them blew my socks off. We’ll definitely be back.

Simply the best ice climbing guides in VT. I had the most incredible adventure with today with Zack ice climbing even though the weather was a bit rough in the morning with some cold rain. I already told 3 friends what a great time I had and can't wait to review the video and photos once I thaw out. As I told Zack it was tough for me to be expressively grateful on the mountain cause I was trying to focus on all of the technique and safety tips/protocols but I finally got a chance to process the trip and reflect on it. The older I get the more I realize the experiences are what matter in life and this adventure of being guided/lead by Petra will always be remembered. I feel extremely fortunate to be supported by him and your organization. His expertise, character, focus on safety, chill demeanor, patience, and leadership make adventures like today totally magical. He is extremely efficient at all of the administrative safety work (ropes, anchors, etc.) allowing me to spend much more time climbing and less standing around waiting. Even when we were waiting he was talking about the knots he was tying, explaining the rock structures, or history of alpinism techniques with crampons. Thank you again!

We recently hosted my son’s 10th birthday party at Petra and it was wonderful! The staff were fun and welcoming and handled a group of 9 year old boys with no problem. The kids had so much fun! It felt easy for us as parents and the price was reasonable. We would definitely do this again!

Petra Cliffs is a great place to take kids. They are accepting of kids and gently push my shy kids to try new things and push their boundaries. We loved sending our kids to Friday Night Kids' Club- $35 each plus pizza dinner for 3 hours meant we could go on a date while the kids had a really good time.

We celebrated our daughter's 10th birthday party at Petra Cliffs. We came with 4 girls total and they absolutely LOVED it. We reserved the party space online (2 hour time slot)-the process was very easy. We were able to get the necessary waivers signed virtually by all the parents, which was a piece of cake. The upstairs area they provided was exactly what we needed for their cake and present break. The girls played hard for 45 min, then took a break, then they enjoyed the ropes course. I didn't catch his name, but he was fantastic getting all the girls to overcome any fears and all 4 completed the course. Really a fantastic way to climb into her 10th year! Thank you Petra Cliffs.

My kids wanted to go rock climbing so I found this place. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The boys had a great time and were both very sweaty when we left. Great place for kids and adults. We were even able to leave for lunch and return without having to pay an extra fee. Definitely have to return.

This climbing center is really great! Nice atmosphere & helpful staff. Not sure how it was pre-COVID, but on a saturday afternoon it was not crowded at all which was ideal. I enjoyed the "bouldering cave" & unique puzzles throughout the center. The bouldering walls are realistic & more advanced in difficulty, but I think the belay climbing option would be perfect for beginners! The free tomatoes were a great treat at the end of my climb.

It was the first time climbing for our 4-year old. Anne was super helpful. She taught us how to use the harness, went through safety checks and made sure both my daughter and I were comfortable bouldering and rope climbing before she left us. Our daughter had a wonderful time. 1.5hours was plenty for her to be tired.

We traveled from out of state for a girls trip and while looking for something fun to do around Burlington, VT we stumbled upon Petra Cliffs. I booked our reservation online prior to the trip and everything was smooth sailing! Great deal for the class and even after the detailed introduction we still had plenty of time to climb. This was our first time EVER doing anything like this and the staff made everything easy to understand and the environment was so friendly! Will definitely be coming back if we visit again. (4 star review simply because some of the bouldering wall was being rearranged during our visit and therefore unable to be utilized!)
