Roy L. Patrick Memorial Gymnasium, located on the University of Vermont campus, offers a versatile space for various events and sports activities. While it's well-loved for its lively atmosphere during basketball games and its extensive range of equipment, some features show its age. The gym is clean and well-maintained, providing an enjoyable experience for both sports enthusiasts and event attendees.

Graduation ceremonies might feel crowded, and the gym can get hot when filled to capacity. Despite being older, it remains a popular venue for both university activities and community events. Weekend parking is free, and the gym's supportive environment enhances the overall experience.

Went to my son's graduation here. Unfortunately we were not able to be inside for the ceremony because the gymnasium was filled beyond standing room and it was so hot in there I watched the graduation on live stream out front. Weather cooperated so I ended up more comfortable outside rather than inside. Tickets should be given to graduates and immediate family ie Father, Mother, siblings. IMO extended family can wait until the graduation party.

In 1984 I went to Patrick Gym to watch a basketball game. I stuck my gum under my seat. I went there again last week (2023) and the gum was still there. It's like a time capsule in there.

Tremendous atmosphere. Great place to enjoy a mid level college basketball game. UVM athletics and their supporters entertaining and fantastic.

Stopped by for a UVM basketball game. The gym is older and they are planning to build a new one but this gym is still in pretty good shape. It was a great event and an enjoyable game!

The center is so clean and equipped with different machines and it has many fields. I think everyone can find some sports to do there. But about working hours it is not the best gym. Once even in the website it was open but when I went to the gym it was closed.

Attended Womens basketball game against Marist - they were fantastic. Gym is old and more like a high school gym with wooden bleachers and dim lighting. Good atmosphere and overall enjoyed watching the game. Band, Cheerleaders, Dancers, Mascot and they had T-Shirts & popcorn giveaways. Parking was Free on the weekend. I would go back again.

I watched two different graduations today from this memorial auditorium and the only complaint is that it is very hot once it is packed full of people
