This is a great activity club one can sign in to especially if you want to try something interesting and stay fit too. As it a group activity, it’s fun to learn and moreover coaches are so great and really supportive.

I am beyond happy I found this activity for my kids. The coaches are all EXCELLENT at both teaching skills and managing kids--even when my son occasionally gets rowdy. My kids resisted other physical activities and sat on the sideline during soccer for a whole season. But they can't get enough of parkour. It's ridiculously fun AND good for them.Every class is different and you never know what you'll get. Yesterday they strung up ropes and had the kids jump over and climb under them. There are also scavenger hunts, races, and group activities, all teaching various motor skills. It doesn't matter what level you're at, the coaches will help you do YOUR personal best and improve.I like that Parkour Generations offers flexible options--you can purchase a monthly subscription or drop-ins. They have lots of classes at different times and locations, so it never gets boring.Next: I am working up my courage to try the adult class!

For the last six months+ we have been taking private lessons with a small group of six year old friends. Coach Jordan has inspired our daughter and her confidence has soared. PARKOUR IS HER HAPPY PLACE. She feels strong and sees that the more she works, the better and stronger she's getting. Coach Jordan is an incredible coach and mentor to our children and his skill at helping kids on the younger end of this sport are unparalleled. We are so happy that Parkour is a place where all bodies are welcome, and growth mindset and healthy living are intertwined into the approach.

Coach Jordan is an excellent coach who is superb with kids. My oldest takes classes with Coach Jordan and my youngest shadows the classes. He's great with both of them and they both love him. My youngest is now much more capable of climbing and getting into places he's not supposed to be. :-)

I am taking Parkour Generations for 50+ and I highly recommend it! There is really nothing else like it. I took it mostly to improve balance and learn to fall as I have had broken bones from falling, and I wasn’t prepared for the workout I got but it’s well worth it!The instructors, Sparsha, Vanessa, and Tim are wonderful and they always provide options for things you can’t do. They provide individual help and are careful to not let us injure ourselves while still encouraging us to do things we think we can’t do. It’s a small and friendly class with people at different fitness levels, and parkour levels, and completely nonjudgmental. It is outside and we use what’s there- walls, railings, steps, etc. so it’s very easy to practice. You gain a great deal of confidence in challenging yourself physically. Love the class!

Parkour Generations Boston has been a great experience for my family. My son has been working with coach Jordan for a year +.Coach Jordan teaches parkour with enthusiasm, skill, passion, humor, and respect. He teaches children to work with their bodies, their skill level, and their surroundings.Jordan brings a “can do” attitude and somehow sprinkles it into the class in a way that the kids are able to adopt the same. With this attitude the class is willing to try new jumps, rolls, handstands, landings, and balance work. When I asked my 6 year old son what he wanted to say about coach Jordan he said “nice guy, great moves, and VERY funny”.I’m so happy we found a community in PGB.I’m also very happy PGB found coach Jordan. He really is the best.

From Zombie Apocalypse Simulations to Rainy Saturdays, PGB is the BESTMy first encounter with PGB instructors was during a zombie apocalypse simulation game. I was the least athletic person on a team that included a pregnant person. I tend to shut down and panic under public athletic pressure (thanks, elementary school gym teacher!). The PGB coaches patiently and kindly guided me through the course, and my team even ended up winning third prize in the simulation!Fast forward three years, my seven year old now takes class with Coach Jordan every Saturday. He gives her and her classmates all the same patience and care I got back in the zombie game, and then some. He gently coaxes kids out of their comfort zones, spotting and supporting when they're afraid, but encouraging them to try things when their fears are holding them back. He gives the perfect balance of time and support, with none of the toxic, bullying style of coaching of my youth. Coach Jordan takes no nonsense (there is no derailing of class for cold, or tiredness, or whining), but he brings all the kids along with a spirited mix of Mary Poppins magic and Steven Universe silliness. The children absolutely adore him. And our cautious, risk-averse child is now trying to scale shelves in the library (a possible side-effect of parkour joy).

My 3 children (6, 8, 11) have been doing parkour with Parkour Generations Boston for over a year and they love it! I’m amazed at what they’ve learned, the confidence they’ve built, and the community associated with the group. From the moment they started, I’ve felt they are learning life lessons that will stay with them forever. They are gaining confidence in themselves and the movements they can do with their bodies. In one of their first classes I overheard Coach Tim explaining “yes jumps” (I can easily do this jump), “no jumps” (I could really hurt myself if I did this jump), and “maybe jumps” (I might be able to do this jump. If I try, I’ll be pushing my boundary just the right amount). A lesson for Parkour and for everything they do in life. This year we did private lessons with Coach Jordan. I loved the thought that Jordan brought to their lessons. He cares about every person he teaches and takes time to plan each lesson around the child’s abilities. I appreciate that he was able to push my 6 year old outside her comfort zone so she can progress at just the right pace. He made the classes fun for them while maintaining control of the kids so they they were safe.A few quotes from my children:“I like Jordan because he’s nice, and he does fun stuff. He does cool stuff like he can walk on his hands. I really like what he teaches us”. —ELW (6 years old)“Jordan has a fun game ideas like one time when we are on a team and trying to take the hot spots without anybody tagging you.” —AEW (8 years old)“He’s funny, he’s nice, he’s good at parkour, and he’s good at teaching parkour” —ADW (11 years old)Every person can benefit from Parkour. Building confidence in your ability to move through your environment is essential and parkour is a wonderful way to gain that confidence. I’m so glad that we discovered Parkour Generations Boston!

Great strength and flexibility training for kids (and adults) using natural elements that is also so much fun! My 5 year old daughter has been doing Parkour with coach Jordan in a small private class setting for almost a year now. Started out as an activity to get us out of our apartment during the pandemic, but now we are hooked! As others have mentioned, coach Jordan has a gift when it comes to working with kids. He is great at getting them out of their comfort zones and trying new things, while making sure everyone’s safe. It’s amazing to see the confidence my daughters gained and all the things (climbing / balancing/ cartwheeling etc) she can do safely now thanks to him and PKGen! Highly recommend!
