Planet Fitness

Very nice, clean space with a good amount of weights and machines. Lots of cardio equipment so you never have to wait around for anything.

This gym was cool. It was built into the old movie theater. Clean and good. Water fountain water tasted a little funny but overall good.

Great gym,, Great staff.. Great location inside the historic Westmont theater ( which might have been torn down if not for Planet Fitness ). I'm the unofficial gym rat there - working out for 7 to 8 hours at a time and the staff is very supportive of my efforts

I've been a member for a few years, has everything I need. Not too crowded, staff is friendly. Just wish they would go back to 24 hours(they told me they were supposed to resume these hours come October and they still haven't yet, would make working out a lot easier with my work schedule.

This PF is small, but with newer equipment than Brooklawn. It is always clean and not usually insanely crowded although sometimes parking is hard to come by.

Just signed up recently and had to freeze until after a stint of overtime. They still charged the $40 annual fee while frozen and before I was ever even able to use the membership, nonnegotiable. They say it’s in the contract that you’re paying for this no matter the circumstances, so they won’t consider on an individual basis. I’ll be cancelling tomorrow, what a joke.

Got a membership here at the encouragement of my sons therapist. Called first to see if it was OK for him to workout there, then took him there for a walk through and they were fine with him joining as long as I got the Black Membership and brought him as my guest. The next day we went to our first workout and everything was great but when we Went 2 days later to our second workout they suddenly they had a problem with my son being 12 1/2. My son is high functioning autistic, it took his therapist and I 3 months to ease my into the idea of joining without him breaking down and having a panic attack or crying and then seeing how excited he was after his first workout was incredible and heartwarming. Then Planet Fitness had to go and leave him feeling brokenhearted and rejected. If they had just told us up front there wouldn't have been a problem, but for us to have called one day, gone for a look around the facility the next day and then gone for his first workout the 3rd day created a real problem that he is still upset about and now he does not want to join when he does turn Planet Fitness magical age of 13. If ever been to a planet fitness before, the location at Westmont would be any different. Having the two floors is certainly nice as allows for people to find a quiet area to work out undisturbed. While PF gets a bad a rap I think if you are looking for a cheap way to access equipment or learn about basic fitness aspects for the money you can't beat Planet Fitness.

I rarely give reviews, but just have to speak to how horrible his place is run. I use to love it, clean, and friendly staff. Now when I go in..it's dirty, sometimes I just want to use the tanning booth, but no one is at the front desk..so I have to just leave. I've asked the manager to clean their white fence that is on their property so many times as the other side of the fence is on Cambridge ave and is moldy.. Either he lies and says he will get it cleaned, ignores me, or asked for permissions from neighbors to clean it..the part of the fence I've told him about is not on anyone's property but the planet fitness property.So my boyfriend and I cleaned it ourselves. Today I went in and could not use the tanning booth as it started working but then cut off. The Manager said I'd have to wait a bit as he needs to reset it again. Um there are other ones you could have moved me to that were free. Why do you have such difficulty with your equpment..this has occurred more times than I can count. So that's it...I'll find another gym and another place to tan. I've gone in more times disappointed than happy. And fyi I run multiple facilites..so covid and finding good help is not the issue...it's management and lack of training and accountability.

I thought this gym was so tiny 😂 after a couple trips I went upstairs and see it was equipment up there. I literally thought upstairs was like a space for only women. Only thing I could say is small is the free weight section. Kinda tight but workable. …
