i wanted to join a boxing gym to better myself and get in shape and be more healthy, a co-worker of mine told me about this place and i’ve been going for a month now. it’s an awesome gym and everyone is very welcoming. there is all different skill levels and everyone is friendly. it’s a great place to go if your looking for a good workout or to learn something new and push yourself. the owner PJ is awesome and super friendly and helpful. he’s a great trainer! i would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to get into muay thai

This gym is extremely welcoming and comforting for beginners and members of all experiences! I've always wanted to learn Muy Thai and SMT is slowly giving me that as with each class I learn more and more. Coach PJ is a very good coach that not only has the knowledge but does an extremely good job at breaking things down slowly and clearly to help teach the students. The other members are all very eager to help each other and there is great camaraderie making it a great environment to learn. Highly recommend!

In my search for a Muay Thai gym, I stumbled upon SMT Academy. I walked into a class of all men and, admittedly, was a bit intimidated. From that first class, I was treated no different from the experienced members. I quickly found my place and I continue to learn from the best of the best. PJ’s experience and teaching style is unparalleled. It’s obvious that he genuinely cares about the progress of his athletes - from the pro-fighter to the 40-some, mom of three.

Great Muay Thai gym for people of all experience levels. When i first came to train with PJ I had zero experience with Muay Thai and even though it was a little intimidating getting started, pj made me feel welcome from the first class. A Great group of people attend the classes with very little ego and pj never hesitates to help you when needed. I Can’t say enough good things about SMT and I couldn’t be happier that I chose to start training here. If you’ve ever even considered training, stop thinking about it and come through for a class, there’s no doubt you’ll keep coming back.
