Anytime Fitness

This is a very nice Anytime Fitness. Very clean and really big.

Filthy absolutely disgusting people sweating and leaving ball cheese on machines not one person cleaned off a machine people using their feet to open doors I wish I could leave pictures.

Nice gym. Clean with plenty of cleaning supplies for before and after use of the equipment

For someone like me that works out all hours of the night, this place is great. Clean, well-run, and good location.

Best gym ever!! Staff is amazing and very professional. Gym is very well taken care of and members are friendly too.

I tried two stationary bikes and both had issues with sloppy pedals. Gym is dated as are some machines. Otherwise friendly atmosphere.

I used Anytime Fitness (AF) Santa Barbara Blvd, Cape Coral for many years paying monthly. It had some good classes. The class instructors went downhill and then they eliminated the free classes I enjoyed and replaced with individual paying classes that were not at convenient times for me. I did them for a while but they were not a great value for someone who was self motivated. All this before COVID. I went into office to cancel membership for husband and myself because we were not using the gym early in the year. We ended up being convinced to put on hold and not cancel because of the fees they would charge us to cancel and guilted into why cancel when we might support a small business and return after Covid. Now we have been charged (November) annual renewal fees on both accounts (unused for over 9-12 months) and since one of our credit cards has been changed, a late fee of 44$ (even though it is only 14 days late when they notified me via a collection service of a $15 charge). To cancel, we have to reactivate both accounts, pay a months fee for each and then they will cancel in 30 days. So 44 + 15 + 30+ 32 = $121 to cancel a monthly membership that was about $30 per month for each of us. ANYTIME FITNESS is like a back loaded investment and should be ashamed of their ridiculous and ongoing "contract". They are not your local small business but an owner using the contractual small print to extort last fees from those canceling. Anytime Fitness is ruining their goodwill and reputation by enforcing this policy. I am not under any Covid related duress but I have empathy for all the members who are facing similar frustrations and are being held hostage by a gym. To me it is worth every penny to be done with their contractual shenanigans and be able to tell people to stay away from AF as sure AF!

Been going for a month or so and never had a problem with carrying a gym bag. After all it is a gym. All of a sudden I was told I could not have a gym bag in their gym. Ive never, in my 41 years of weightlifting and competitive bodybuilding, have I’ve ever been to a gym that doesn’t allow gym bags. Not my kind of gym. Never going back.

It’s a nice weight room with good equipment. It’s kind of stupid you cannot use the room with purple turf because it’s reserved for classes. You cannot even use when there is no class instead you get a little patch of wood to do ab and some accessory work. This is the only anytime fitness that I have been in that does not allow members to use that room.
