I took my 3.5 year old daughter for their open gym they have Fridays. It was $15. They offered pizza but we did not partake as we had just had dinner. The lady at the front was very helpful. The actual gym area was a bit dirty and they had some broken equipment, but my daughter loved it. I would say my 3.5 year old was the youngest though. I would say average age was 6 to 8 and there were some in their teens. The older kids were very respectful and mindful of my daughter. There was a little girl who got hurt while we were there. I did not see what happened but she was screaming her head off and blood dripping from mouth. There are trampolines, uneven bars, mats, foam pit with rope and rings and more.I inquired about their programs as I've seen favorable reviews in past, but the broken equipment and general uncleanliness give me pause. Not sure if these problems are systemic to gymnastic places, as I've been to another that is similar.Parking isn't the greatest. The lot is small and I think I nabbed the last spot, which really was practically in a ditch. They also had what appeared to be a food truck in their "lot" as well.I'm really about how people treat me and the staff here was excellent. I hesitate a bit and hope at least the broken equipment gets fixed pronto. We will most likely visit their open gym again and maybe consider their programs as well.

We have been going to Tropical Twisters for over a year, and we love it. Coach Nicole is our favorite and my daughter loves seeing her. She has a lot of energy, and a is so patient with her young athletes.

They are nice and coach Nicole is the best! My girl was happy there! I just took her out! Because I don’t agree with the coaches that are coming in now! For u to teach at school u have to be a teacher! So I think that for u to teach gymnastics u have to have a good background not a 12 year old or just girls from high school!

My daughter is four and has been doing gymnastics at Tropical Twisters for almost four months. She loves it and we love her coach Ms.Nicole. She is amazing with the kids! She knows exactly how to talk to the kids so they actually listen and make them enjoy doing gymnastics.

Overall very happy with Tropical Twisters. My daughter looks forward to her classes every week. The class size is small which allows her to be active more then waiting for her turn. She has been with Coach Nicole now for about 4 months and we love her! My daughter began at 3 years old, now 4, and her class is a mix of 2.5 year olds up to 4. Coach Nicole has control over her young class. She keeps them busy and entertained while still managing to improve their skills. She makes it a point to come out to each parent after class to let us know what she did in class and why as well as to give us feedback on how our children did.

This is a top-notch gym with competent, caring, and attentive coaches that provide a safe and clean environment to develop the gymnasts’ skills. The owners use a combination of team training coupled with one-on-one specialized training, focusing first on safety and proper techniques. The success of these methods are measured in local, state, and regional competitions where Tropical Twister gymnast’s talents really shine. I’m proud of all the gymnasts and in awe of their dedication, determination, and abilities they demonstrate. What I’m most proud of is that the gymnasts care for and support of each other, not overly competitive. This is a positive culture that is rare in the gymnastic industry and can only be attributed to Tropical Twister owners’ vision and experience.I feel fortunate to have the high-caliber coaching and positive culture that Tropical Twister provides.

LOVE THIS GYM!! Our 5 year old daughter has been going here for almost a year and a half and she LOVES it. I personally have seen her make a lot of progress with only going one day a week. The coaches make it fun for her and she is always excited to go to her class. Mike and Lisa are the owners and are super sweet to my daughter. If you are looking for a gym to take your kids to I would highly recommend this gym. There is a parent seating area where you can almost see the entire gym through a one way window. They also have mommy and me on Fridays and Saturdays.

We have really enjoyed Tropical Twisters. I have been taking my son for 2 years, LOVE the boys class on Friday evenings. Perfect way to round off their week and let them get out any energy they have left. Works out great because open gym is the same night. The staff and coaches are knowledgeable, friendly and caring.

I bring my 19 month old daughter to Tropical Twisters on Friday mornings for "Mommy and Me." It's an affordable, indoor morning out for us, which is rare to find in SW Florida. For $5 for an hour or $8 for two hours, kids can interact in padded areas with mats, pads, cones, hula hoops, balls, trampolines, and even a foam cube pit. I love coming here. Can't speak for the real gymnastics classes, but the staff at the front desk is always friendly and the young women keep a good eye on the kids for safety. I recommend this to anyone with young kids wanting to socialize and burn off some steam in a safe environment.
