Love this gym and the atmosphere! The trainers are great, encouraging, and staff has always been accommodating/quick to answer questions. The workouts are challenging, but doable, and always welcome at your own pace. I've never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome, and am happy to have have found something I feel can be a constant for me as I don't get bored with the workouts/always leave feeling good.

I've tried traditional gyms before but I was just never motivated. Here, at Orangetheory, the coaches and environment are great. It's also about a mindset. The culture that they have built is a plan for success if you work at it. When the coach says add .1 to your ALL OUT that just makes you want to work that much harder to achieve your goals. Since I joined the program I have noticed a lot of positive changes in my life. I'm losing weight, feeling better, sleeping better, etc. You couldn't ask for a better staff. The coaches - Annie, Cara, Simie and Lily do an amazing job. You could join a "traditional" gym but Orangetheory with their professionally planned workouts is by far the way to go to better yourself!

Coaches and staff are great! Love that you can join at any location and have access to them all. I have been working out on my own for years and nothing matches the results from OTF!

The staff was great... but there are definitely things I would never join or recommend this gym. We do 30-minute cardio on the treadmill, which doesn't make sense. You don't need to kill yourself doing cardio everyday to see results, lifting weights is what's really going to help. They should add more functional training to their workouts... and on top of that I didn't like at all that they didn't allow phones hmm why? I'm a fitness content creator on social media, I like to share where I go, my workouts, etc... it's definitely not a place where I feel comfortable being myself. Social media is my job, so I'd like to have the freedom of having MY phone with me. Also, I have tried so many gyms and they never try to sell me their memberships at the end. If I like it, I'll come to them and ask because doesn't feel good that someone keeps insisting much less when they are trying to "convince me" to leave my gym (where I can actually lift weights) and change to this for a "cheaper price".

I love the workouts and the staff! Every workout is very challenging, but you are in and out in an hour and it’s a great time! There’s no thinking, you just show up! Also the motivation from coaches and staff and members is great!

First and foremost, I want to say overall my time at Orangetheory has been a positive experience for the most part. I started in Wilmington, NC and what I loved most about my gym was the staffing was nothing short of professional, courteous, and welcoming. They knew everyone by name and treated everyone like family.Moving to Charlotte, I was expecting the same experience. And again, for the most part I was pretty satisfied. Since joining the University location I’ve seen a good amount of turnover, which is fine. However, lack of knowledge and inconsistency became an issue for me. Some of the staff weren’t as knowledgeable about policies, so communication was not consistent. When expressing this feedback, the manager Chris was very rude and condescending. We pay a pretty penny to join this gym. Professionalism is the bare minimum that I expect when paying this amount to workout here. I am not entitled by any means, I work very hard to maintain a membership here. Chris told me if I try to help you, I put myself in a bind and get in trouble with my higher ups. Or you signed a contract, you knew what you were signing up for… Not once did I complain about policies or paying my dues. My feedback was in regards to miscommunication and to not place responsibility on the consumer for what happens behind closed doors. What happens between you and your manager is your problem, not mine and trying to make me feel bad about it, isn’t ok.As a manager, as well as someone who works in customer service, I was extremely displeased with the way I was spoken to. Especially, as a loyal client as myself. A part of being a manager is being able to take constructive criticism and respond respectfully. What you decide to say about me behind closed doors or amongst your peers is none of my concern.Since Chris did not care to hear my concerns or provide me with the contact information I asked for, I want to share my thoughts here in hopes that someone may read this and feel inclined to hear me out.

I am not a gym person but I was intrigued by OT system. I make efforts to go coz I see the difference. Every class is different set of exercises. I love combination of treadmill, floor exercise and rowing. Would highly recommend to try it once.

I absolutely love this place! From the moment I took my free class to the moment I signed up for my membership, they have been amazing. My first class was amazing and coach Cara was very attentive and made sure I was ok through the whole class. I signed up shortly after that class and I have had Coach Lily and Coach Annie and they are both amazing coaches. All of the coaches are amazing, very attentive to their classes and motivates you to work your best. I would def recommend OTF to anyone who is questioning it and definitely recommend this location. Everyone there has been awesome and I don’t feel judged while I’m in class. Since I became a member, I have been contacted by multiple people from the office asking how my membership has been going and to see if I have any questions. I can not say enough great things about this location. Very clean and organized as well.
