My wife and I switched BJJ gyms to Agoge Combatives in Dec. 2022 and couldn't be happier with our decision. The level of the Agoge programs is beyond any other gym in the area and it shows in quality of the facility, competition results and the camaraderie fostered at the gym.If you're in the area and wanting to train BJJ/MMA, there is no reason you should go anywhere else.

Came down from Alberta Canada for a conference and brought my gear with me. As soon as I walked through the door the guys warming up on the mats were friendly and welcoming. The instructor John was great defiantly walked away with a peace of knowledge. Facility is top end and very clean.

As a middle aged, out of shape guy looking to get into BJJ for fun and exercise, I was nervous about coming to a MMA style gym. However, upon recommendation from a couple friends I decided to give it a shot. I am so happy I did!Everyone at Agoge is very welcoming, friendly and eager to help you out. The instructors are top notch and are awesome teachers, as well as being great people!I was worried about what I was walking into as there are some pretty toxic gyms out there with guys that just want to crush you, but the culture at Agoge is amazing! I have made many good friends there and I have never felt unsafe. On the flip side, if you're someone that wants to train hard for MMA, look no further. Some of the most talented fighters in the region come out of this gym and they can definitely help you level up your game!I liked it so much that I enrolled my son in the children's class and he is loving it as well.If you can't tell, I love this gym and everyone there! If you're looking for a place to train, don't hesitate to come try it out!

Started training at Agoge in June of this year with zero prior experience in any grappling or martial art. I had been “interested” in doing something like this for years but always made excuses to not take that first step...and honestly it …

I'm far, far from a Jiu-Jitsu expert, but I have had the opportunity to train at multiple gyms in many states. What I have found out is what's much more important than having the best, most experienced instructors is the overall feel of a …
