The whole experience at the YMCA North River was and is excellent. The facilities are clean and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. My wife and I were greeted as we walked in and helped us discover the many different options for getting started on our mission to get into better health and wellness. There are so many different programs and equipment available. Since we are Seniors and have Medicare our membership is free! We were given a tour of the facility and were evaluated as to where to start improving our fitness. We connected with a trainer who is wonderful and been very supportive with our specific needs. Great gift to this community as I see all ages using this place.

All front desk staff is polite. But cleaning guy is rude and says all homeless people has STDs. If he wasn't so intrusive in the shower area peaking in the shower curtain. If you didn't have that guy then would give 5 stars

After having a poor experience at another summer camp, I enrolled my son in the YMCA youth camp and they have been stellar to him. He's pretty severely ADHD and they have not only done their best to help him in the right direction, they've let me know where our shortcomings were and how they corrected them on the spot. They are honest and it was actually one of the more affordable camps. They provide breakfast, they swim every day, they help him in any way. He needs help... I will definitely be bringing him back next year. Weeks at the YMCA summer camp and he is learning all kinds of new social skills and I couldn't be happier.

Enough is enough already. 4 or 5 pickle ball players should not have free run of the gym 6 days a week. People pay for their membership to be able to use the court also.Membership canceled.

Not the most up-to-date gym, but overall happy with the equipment provided. Enjoy the indoor pools and the sauna. The basic gym equipment is nice and not over populated. The front desk associate is always nice and helpful to questions.

Love to go to their zumba class. It motivates me to do more other exercise. Everyone is happy there . I already recommended so many of my friends. They already joined and enjoy the time.

I have a great deal of admiration for the coaches and referees at the Hixson Family YMCA who work with the youth basketball league. The refs don’t just make calls, they take the time to explain to the player why the call is made and what they need to do. The coaches are so motivating and positive. My grandson is in the 8 year old basketball league and it is delightful to watch. Very good parking and plentiful bleachers for viewing. Very well done!
