People are nice but always felt this place was trying to get more and more money from you. Prices paid you'd expect to be able to go more than the couple times a week. Got us with the Groupon and signing up for 6 months which was expensive. Then tried getting us for the advanced classes even more expensive. I wouldn't do it again for my child.

A truly rewarding experience for my child and myself. I would recommend to others, and make them aware that all sports have a cost and this one is no exception. The staff are exceptional and truly care for the well-being of the children they are working with.

I am extremely happy at Greenbrier Changing Lives Martial Arts. My 4-year old son wanted to learn martial arts. I decided to sign both him and his older brother up for classes. My younger son is now 5 and has matured tremendously in the past 10 months. The money is well worth it seeing how well he is learning. My older son is 8-years old and is really starting to build up core muscle strength. The instructors make their classes fun and the kids seem to enjoy their lessons. I signed both up for the legacy program which allows them to take as many classes as they choose. They work hard to improve their skills and hope to be able to teach one day. I wouldn't change programs just to safe money.

Our daughter has enjoyed Greenbrier Changing Lives Martial Arts. She has attended for almost 2 years now. The instructors are great and it always amazes me how patient they are with the students. Mr. White is really good with the kids. They have worked with us to provide the best plan that fits our daughter's schedule and needs and we see value in this facility. Our daughter has show great improvement not only in martial arts but with discipline, respect, and self confidence. We would recommend this school to others. I do think improvement can be made to communications and website updates, so 4 out of 5 stars :-)

My son has stopped attending and we haven't been able to talk to Allyce, who is supposed to cancel our plan, which means we have had money taken out for 4 months that we weren't there! This place is a rip off and they don't even teach your children anything because there aren't any official instructors. Sometimes your children are being led by another child. They make you but their gear, you have to pay to test out in order to get to another belt color, You are limited to how many times a week you are allowed to go and its not really friendly staff. Huge waste of time and money considering 6 months ends up being over a grand!

It was an okay experience. They only have one or two "qualified" instructors and the other instructors are being taught by them. So, you are being instructed by qualified and unqualified. The prices are HIGH. 167/month if you pay right then and there, but if you join later it is 250 down and 167/month. Also they make you buy THEIR gear which costs another 300-400. The only way to save money is if you pay $987 up front for the 6 month class. Oh, and it is $55 each time your tested... so what is there in this where you DON'T spend money? You will find yourself broke before you actually learn anything. You can learn way more and pay less at other fighting school. I took Ju Jitsu and paid $45/month and could go 6 days out of the week from qualified instructors. This Krava Maga place only has 3 lessons a week and I believe you can only go to two.... Highly recommend not paying and being part of this scam.

My son's mother has called multiple times to sign our son up (we bought a groupon), and not once has anyone answered the phone. She has left at least two voicemails and no one has called her back. This has been weeks ongoing. Combine that with what others are reporting about being forced to pay extra fees beyond the groupon, we will probably be reporting/returning the groupons.

*****DO NOT GO HERE****STAY AWAY****And for God's sake, DO NOT DO THE GROUPON!!! They will tell you that you have to do a 6 month contract ($137/mo) and to sign up now, you will not have to pay the 200 or 300 $ sign up fee.THERE ARE SOOO MANY CHEAPER places to go that do not charge these high prices!! Take the time to make calls and visit other places in the neighborhood. My child tested and passed to earn her green belt. They DID NOT give her the belt. Told me to be patient. This has never happened when earning her previous belts. This test also came at the end of the 6 mo contract. They actually tried to get me to sign on for the next contract....advanced class....for 24 MO's or 36 MO's!! And that's not all. I had to pay $210 for the 24 mo or $190 for the 36 mo!! Doesn't end there, folks. Next I was informed that I had to purchase $1000.00 in equipment/fight gear and it was manotory. Had to be purchased with in the first 90 days of this new contract.NO OTHER PLACE CHARGES THESE AMOUNTS FOR CLASS TIME/TRAINING AND THE EQUIPMENT. I HAVE CHECKED!! Matter of fact, the other places were floored to hear about this!!To make matters worse, because we did not con't on with the advanced contract, my child did NOT get her green belt. Her classes were over. I made SOOOO many phone calls and left several msg's without any returned calls. I finally went and asked for it. Ms. Morin (instructor) was too busy to speak with me. Walked right by me and acted like I wasn't even there. I was informed by a man at the front computer area that belts not claimed after 30 days are sent back to headquarters and my childs had been returned. My child's test date was April 18, 2014. The day I went there to get the belt was 5/15/2014. Not only do they ROB you, they also cannot add!!They are owned by a corporation. Stick to the local, non corp. Smaller classes, more one on one with your child.

I bought a Groupon for 16 lessons. At the first lesson, they tried to force me to buy a membership for half a year ($137/month), otherwise I would have to pay a signing in fee over $250, if I decide later to become a member... This is not the way I want to be treated from a service business! There are much more very good marial arts businesses in this area!
