I have been an unlimited member of OTF Millennium Park since they opened about 3 years ago. I continue to be impressed and motivated by the coaches and staff every time I visit. The staff and coaches are incredibly friendly and caring and the studio is always super clean.

Nice studio, but I came to a class from out of town since I have the unlimited membership and they charged my card $10 because of different studio rates. I was not made aware of this when I booked the class and I think it is ridiculous they couldn’t refund me when I already pay almost $200/month. I called the studio the next day and they didn’t do anything about it. Never again

I have been a member here for about 2 years now and in my time here I have come to love the Orange Theory Millennium Park crew and clientele, however recently I witnessed an encounter that has made me reconsider my membership.Recently I was in a Starbucks nearby getting a coffee before class and I watched Sable, a trainer who i have had many classes with and have really enjoyed, basically screaming at a poor Barista about not having honey for some drink. She is in customer service so I would expect her to understand that those poor workers don't have control over the supply chain and are deserving of respect as well.I am willing to believe it was perhaps just an off day for her but it still soured me to the point that I have decided to move my membership to another gym.Everyone needs to remember, it only takes a moment to show a bit of kindness.

Edit: I came third in the transformation challenge and won a very low quality water bottle that locked in 2 weeks after use - this delayed me by 40 seconds and caused me to miss the class by 15 seconds. The robotic staff as usual did not let me in - and I was lectured by Jennifer (the manager) that she couldn’t let me in because in the 15 seconds it took to walk in from the door of the studio to the inside doors. This particular studio is inconsistent about what constitutes a late entry into the studio. While I respect their policy of shutting the doors on time, on a couple of occasions, I got there before time to find that the door was locked. Upon knocking they opened it, and one member of the staff admitted that I had been locked out early (another customer outside was a witness as well as another member of the staff) - yet I was not permitted to participate by the coach and basically the floor staff on duty said “sorry I can’t do anything now”. So essentially was turned away because them opening the door and debating with me about time actually put me over time! This was quite frustrating - if I am ready to respect their decision to not let people even a second over time, they should also respect their rules when their customers are actually on time - instead of turning them away after paying a 200 dollar membership. I felt this showed a lack of empathy for the circumstances of their customers. The redeeming factor is that workouts are standardized so you can pretty much get the same experience at other OTF branches - am planning to try at other nearby locations. The OTF workout itself is great and the coaches are well trained - but would recommend other, nearby branches!
