Staff is cool! Clean gym steam room always smells bad, but that's just because everyone wears shoes in there!

O joined thru Medicare Silver Sneakers program In July. I went a few times but it feels so impersonal there. Due to COVID you're basically at your own mercy. Even my 28 yo daughter didn't care for the atmosphere

I've been attending this gym for years now, ever since it opened actually. It's been interesting how Chuze has been upgrading equipment over the years. I liked what you guys did during Covid making it outdoors. Bad how crowded it got back then. Currently, I like how it's operating. I do hope Chuze , adds more equipment or machines in the future. Specifically squat racks or new machines. IMO I think there's a lot of cardio machines. I notice that the machines near the women's restroom rarely get used (excluding the cable machine), I feel something more useful could replace it there. a dip machine or shoulder one? Also during peak hours, which I tend to get often, I notice there tends to be groups of people just standing at machines. I'm always solo, so I try to get in there do my workout and move to the next. I always see groups of guys or girls hogging the machines, whether it's the cables or worse the squat rack area. I honestly get annoyed seeing so many people just standing there talking like it's a lounge, than training. These type of people flood the floor and make it impossible for others to use those machines. I'm talking 4-6 people here. They don't even look like they're there to train, more to conversate. If only there was more of a way to implement no more than 2 people per machine. I have to improvise and do another exercise for the inability to use the desired equipment. I had my best friend leave Chuze for this same reason. He could never get a chance to use the squat rack. Another rack would be nice. For some reason that area of the gym (squat rack) gets absurdly crowded at peak hours with these groups. Other than that I've had a good experience, it's always clean and tidy.Updated: as of now the gym has actually been getting new equipment. There's new Squat racks outside along with new deadlift platforms. There is also some new machines. So far so good. One thing I would like or recommend, is for the gym to expand next door. I've been coming to this Chuze for 6 years and the building next door has been vacant for just as long or more. It would create way more space for machines, new equipment & people to walk or train. Lately it has been getting crowded because of the new equipment. So seeing this would be awesome. As of now I'm liking with the upgrades.

Love this gym. Great atmosphere. Love the options; way better than Planet Fitness. The only bad thing is the sauna/ steam areas; members don't follow the rules of the time limit. Also on the circuit right training area (where it's timed) members DO NOT KNOW HOW TO READ. Even when the instructions say, FOR CIRCUIT TRAINING ONLY, members come in use a random machine, stay on it for like 5 minutes and then leave. It's really frustrating.

Still love the place been here for about a year now I have met many new people. The work ethic is the same they are very clean and very friendly. I haven't had a reason to leave they treat me like a family. I love it every time I go more and more.

I am giving it a 4 star because in my case it provides the cardio opportunity I need and the theater is awesome, I used to come here a few years back and it has never been as packed as it is now, the chest days or leg days are gone, unless you are able to come at graveyard hours finding available benches or squats is near impossible, specially with some members leaving a their water bottle or so on the machine so no one uses it while they are doing other things, staff is friendly they have wipes all over which is nice, If my goal was weight training and bulking up this is not the gym due to being overcrowded, one request i would like to do is pleaze restart the theater movies as soon as they are over, i have loterally been doing cardio while having to wat h the scene selection clip over and over for 30 minutes with no one pushing play it drives you insane

I informed the staff a month ago that there was mold growing in the mens bathroom and that it’s unsafe for clients, yet nothing has been done about it. Management should be concerned about the mold because if someone gets sick that is a lawsuit. If this were to get reported to the health department they would immediately be shut down. The cleaning staff is also very irritating. They come in early before the showers are closed and start making lots of unnecessary noise trying to clean. Why do this when they close the showers earlier than the rest of club? Surely when the showers close after that they should have enough time to clean.

Great gym, has everything you need for a good lift. Only thing that would make this place MUCH better is adding more squat racks. Like how’re you going to have 25 treadmills but 2 squat racks. I wait and average of 30 min every leg day unless I come at 5am.

So far so good, for the first time working out in this gym... Good customer service and a nice family environment. Lots of choices of exercise equipment to choose from and the locker rooms are tidy and neat .. the membership rates are reasonable as well.

Very friendly gym staff, very clean. Although it gets really crowded at times, it’s very understandable because how well maintained this place and equipment is. They also do a good job with having up to date equipment and machines
