Has all of the equipment at a more than fair price. Would like a paramount cable machine.

I signed up when they were doing a promotion where it was a dollar down or free for a month or something of that nature if you applied so I did. I wanted the membership where you can go to any crunch gym but not bring a friend so it’s a bit cheaper. When I signed up, he did not ask me which package I wanted. He just signed me up for the most expensive package. I told him I wanted to be changed to the one below that he told me that he couldn’t change it because it was already in the system. He said it didn’t matter because with the promotion I’m getting the experience of the most expensive gym plan for free, or the dollar down or whatever the promotion was. Next day I went to the crunch fitness in Bonita and asked if they could change my plan. They said they cannot change my plan because it wasn’t my home gym. OK, whatever. I went to the Eastlake location my home gym the following day asked if I could change my plan and he said it would be $10 fee, I told him then just to cancel my membership. I did not like the way I felt that they were trying to pull a fast one on me. The gym itself was a pleasant experience as it was clean. The machines worked. The Eastlake location has a sauna, which I like. Not all crunch locations have saunas. The staff was kind despite those incidents. They offer Zumba classes.

Despite new equipment, always something broken including a toilet that had been clogged for 3 months and filthy toilets while we wait for the "locker rooms" that were advertised last year to get new members. Very disappointing experience. This is also a franchise not a corporate location so that may have something to do with it. And I'm not disgruntled I was kicked out due to a personal beef with 1 Manager who didn't want to do her job and I complained about her too loudly. This is a franchise business run like a profit center. Out of paper towels and toilet paper regularly. Unclean. Unsafe. They would turn off all the lights at 10pm to kick people out because the employees wouldn't get aid for staying past 1015pm. I recommended the permanent clips so the equipment could be used people keep taking the clips for Keychains and was told she wouldn't do that although at Bonita they use zip ties. I carried my own clips so I could work out. Regularly removing clips without an ANSI stamp helping others avoid injury and this is the thanks I get. 😊 REDICULOUS and I've met other poeple outside the gym who independently confirm the manager is a very difficult person to work with or work for.

This gym is literally trash. Full of little kids and as a result, they close at 9 PM. Don't waste your time and money here. There's a 24 Hour down the street that's exquisite. They will actually let you work out at 9 PM instead of kicking you out because it's past all the little kids' bedtimes. I have absolutely nothing positive to say about this place. Just HORRIBLE! Definitely not coming back.

Things have really been turning around here. I’ve been a member prior to the renovation and still active today. All the negative reviews are from pre renovation, and I get it, cause it was getting bad. They’ve put a lot of money into though and now with the renovation this place is legit. Great equipment, solid staff and really a real joy to workout at. Once the locker rooms are done and the HIIT zone it’s gonna be top notch.Hit it early am for no crowds. If you go afternoon or early evening it’s packed with youth. There’s a lot of schools around so them kids take over that time.

Amazing gym. Only gripe with this gym is that they play the music very loud so if you're listening to music on headphones without ANC, you're definitely going to hear some overlap. Ez Bars are very off-centered in weight also, so trying to do curls on them is a little hard and makes you focus on keeping them upright rather than focusing on the exercise itself.

My wife and I recently moved to the area and have been long time LA fitness members. After trying the local LA Fitness a couple times we decided to give this Crunch a try since we were disappointed with the cleanliness and equipement of the local LA Fitnees. So far so good, staff is really nice and we're looking forward to the sauna/locker room renovations to be completed.

Bought a membership at beginning of the year w promises for new Sauna. I read in the sauna. They can’t replace a light bulb in men’s and the bench for the top seating is missing and it’s filthy. Could be fixed with a pressure washer and a stain treatment. Locker rooms are a joke. I cancelled my membership when they limited hours on Sundays. Other gyms are open until 12 M-Th. They need true leadership and accountability and to be a bit more organized.

I encountered a highly unsatisfactory interaction with the customer service representative as soon as I walked in. After paying for a day pass ($15) and very vaguely explained the memberships, I was just told locker rooms where upstairs and that was it. They did not offer a tour nor informed me of any other promotions or specials. I had to ask the questions rather them telling me what they offer...Mind you my friend went in a week before me and received a tour and a FREE DAY PASS.Women's locker rooms 0 stars (stinks like mold, lockers beat up and the toilet seats had a yellow stained ring around them.)Hopefully ladies when you walk in you don't get judge as soon as you walk in like I did. Ask for a tour and if you already have a friend signed up to that gym go with them so you can go in free. And not waste $15! (the machines are great that's the only 5 stars)

This was really weird. I came in with a first time free pass to try the gym out. The guys at the front could have cared less that I was there. I've been shopping around and everywhere else they greet you, at least pretend they're excited you are there, registers you, have you sign weavers etc. When you walk in, almost all of the equipment is out in one main area. It's also full of teenagers. I didn't see treadmils though. Then upstairs are the locker rooms. They liked super run down. The wood is all stained. There's marble all over the place like it was put together in the 80s. The lights in half of the locker room didn't work. The lights didn't work in the sauna either. We head back down to continue our tour, again teenagers running up the stairs past us. We finally find the treadmills down a hallway that I almost felt like I shouldn't be going down. They are in a back corner that looked like an oversized closet. No ventilation. Signs for kids club, so I guess the room was repurposed. Crowded and stinky. We turn around, nope, not going in there. There was a restroom looked like it was a children's restroom. Again teenagers run in laughing and playing in the bathroom. We immediately pulled out out phones to find another gym in the area to try out. So if you like hot sweaty treadmill closets, 80s horror movie vibe, locker rooms and unsupervised teenagers running into you, this is the gym for you.
