I just signed up for Crunch fitness Eastlake. Shout out to Ysela she was very helpful, showed me around the gym. This location use to be a "Select" location, so it has a steam room and a Sauna, and really nice Spa quality bathroom. I am very excited and cannot wait to start accessing the facility. They also have moved everything outside which is really nice right now since we are in the middle of the Pandemic.

Great place to work! Best brand in the Fitness Industry. Love all of my co workers. The Crunch team did an amazing job at putting the outdoor gym together. It is fully equipped with free weights, cardio, selectorized machines and a functional training area.

I would love to begin how clean this gym is. I love the staff! They make me feel so welcomed and I feel like I can trust them. I love walking up and seeing a smile from the front desk. A staff member by the name of ysela is so awesome at her job ! 100% recommend !!!

I had a GREAT experience! With COVID affecting how businesses run, I feel Crunch has been very innovative in how they’re set up for their customers to get in a great workout all while social distancing. It was my first day and it was a great day! Probably one of the best experiences I’ve had after trying out different gyms around the area. The staff is also super friendly and make you feel at home, would totally recommend!!

This place is a great and friendly environment. John is always upbeat and helps spot me if I’m ever lifting. Great dude. Ysela is helpful with any concerns with my membership and is always on top of the guidelines everyone has to abide by. Danny is the best manager they’ve had in a long time, super cool dude he’s like a brother and coach. No problems here. I encourage people to come here, it’s only going to get better at this location.

Crunch Eastlake is absolutely awesome. They recently made a HUGE outdoor section of the gym which has all of the essential equipment and then some. They even put in a sled run with turf. The staff is always motivated and super helpful. John pumps up every member that walks in and makes sure you start and leave with a smile. This gym is an example to follow on how to adapt to the Covid 19 pandemic. They are always playing great workout music too and I see employees constantly wiping down equipment. Professional and overall the best gym facility I’ve been to.

We had a guest pass with a personal trainer at crunch , my young son & his teammate .We walked in & were met with aggressive & hostile sales mgr named ( ERNESTO) Before even saying hello or how are you he said do you have a membership , we said no but we have guest passes . He then said to me & our( 2 ) young kids then you can't even stand in the lobby , without even discussing a possible membership he started yelling at us & asked us to leave in a aggressive manner & you can not work out today with your personal trainer ! Now I dont know if the man was just having a bad morning or what , but that's not an excuse ! I am sure there are decent people working at CRUNCH in EASTLAKE ! BUT ERNESTO IS NOT ONE OF THEM ! AN Extremely hostile & aggressive animal BEWARE ! Hard to believe anyone would put this guy in charge of cleaning toilets , let alone a large gym !

Crunch has been through quite a few managers, and each one is worse than the one before. There at 3 inclinable benches 1-2 of which are always broken. To which I might add, are only missing a couple bolts. I’ve let both management and the maintenance man know of what’s broken and the simple fix. But they’re both as useless as the guy curling in the squat rack. They also rack the 90-120 dumbbells with rounded edges on the rack. Which means whenever you rack any one of the heavier dumbbells, you’ll have made the other 90-120 dumbbells roll off the rack and onto the feet of anyone around. I’ve let them know heavier dumbbells need to have strong edges to prevent them from rolling off the rack. To which the manager tells me “well no one has been injured yet.” The manager also refuses to give refunds even after you’ve cancelled and they’ve charged for a couple months after termination. This gym is a textbook example of how crippling a weak management team is. They rely heavily on that there aren’t many gym options in the area. However if any company like Chuze, or 24Hour decides to open up, they’ll see how weak their customer loyalty is.

Pros: Location. Convenient if you live in Eastlake. Most the machines and equipment are solid.Cons: Membership and staff. Membership is pricey. The staff that works there are very unprofessional and they give off this weird, odd, and sleazy vibe. Really makes the environment of the gym feel uncomfortable.Overall: If you're looking for a gym, this place can do the job. My 2/5 star rating comes from someone who takes pride in the gym they go to. So much that I go to a local gym in north park (I live in eastlake). I enjoy a gym that makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable, that way I can relax and focus on my workout. If this gym had a more positive vibe/environment and cost of membership was brought down to maybe $35-$40 across the board, then I'd give this place a solid 5 stars. But I'd recommend you keep if moving if you're looking for a gym.
