I had a great experience with Libby Winterhalter. She has a broad base of skill and experience and was able to really make a difference for me around the shoulder discomfort I experience.

Jackie Sanders is one of the best DPT’s I’ve ever worked with. If you want someone that will work with you and push you to get better she’s perfect. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need.

The gait analysis has been a game changer for me. Dr. Sanders detail evaluation of my running form has changed my approach and helped me increase performance by focusing on details that I would have never been able to figured out on my own. if you are serious about your running performance whether you are triathlete or a runner, this assessment will help you get get better the right way. Thanks Jackie !

After major foot surgery I worked with Jackie Sanders as part of my recovery. She was great! She has a great sense of humor and is dedicated to getting her patients "back on their feet". She is professional, knowledgeable and she will provide candid feedback about your progress/ next steps.I had the opportunity to observe her at a clinic she put on with athletes interested in improving their running. She was informative, humorous, and very engaged with her audience. The clinic surveys rated her as "excellent"!I highly recommend Jackie Sanders to be your physical therapist!

Sarah is a miracle worker. I’ve seen her for two different issues and she has helped me tremendously. Both times her assessment has been spot on. I also appreciate that she actually works on you while you’re there, rather than just watching you do exercises. She is the real deal and I can’t recommend her enough. The rest of her team is pretty awesome too!

Sarah is a highly trained, and highly professional, expert in her field. On numerous occasions she has fixed problems after numerous medical professionals failed to accurately diagnose or treat a problem. My best example was a frozen shoulder - after 3 steroid injections and no resolution, I finally found Sarah. After only 5 treatments of dry needling I was dramatically improved. She then oversaw my exercise program to strengthen what were, after more than a year without use, atrophied upper back muscles. I would, and do, recommend her to anyone who will listen.

I can’t thank Sarah Koehl enough for taking the time with me. I know we only scratched the surface of my issues but the little time we had you helped me tremendously. You listened to my needs and cared about making me feel better. I hope to be back to see you!

I have been going to see Dr. Dennis Mirosh at Anchor Wellness for a few months now. I have a tear in my shoulder and not quite in need of surgery but wanted some pain relief. Dennis has helped me a ton. I am now playing golf pain free whereas i was about to quit the game a few months ago. I would highly recommend Anchor and Dennis for physical therapy. .

Until recently I had been running approximately a 5K distance for 10+ years, on my own, with no coaching or guidance. My pace had plateaued several years ago and has slightly declined over the past few years which I had attributed to age (I’m 41).In the past, every time I had been in really good shape and had tried to push my maximum pace I got injured. I have been plagued with piriformis syndrome (a relatively common running injury) which would flare up every time I would try to push my maximum pace. I had always felt that I would be able to run much faster if I could avoid getting injured.I decided I was stuck in a rut and ready for a change. I wanted to try to train for a marathon, but decided it would be best to get some help rather than doing it on my own. I joined a local running group (The Amateurs) and couldn’t have been happier with the team and the head coach. The head coach directed me to Jackie Sanders for physical therapy help with my piriformis syndrome problem and an injury that I sustained to a tendon in my leg. During my first appointment Jackie used needle therapy around the area of the injured tendon (similar to acupuncture) and the pain was completely gone the next day. During the visit I could tell that Jackie had deep and intuitive knowledge of the body and how it translates into running She is also professional runner, which gave me confidence in her analysis and opinions. I thought the pain alleviation was incredible, and I had experienced something so drastically positive in a medical setting (without the need to prescribe drugs).I decided to have another visit with Jackie so she could perform what she called a “gait analysis” of my running form. This involved video capture of me running on a treadmill in her office. Next she went over frames of the video with me in order to evaluate my running mechanics and identify problems with my form. The biggest problem that she identified was that I was running too upright, without enough forward lean. She explained this was causing my foot strike to occur in front of my body which was causing my foot to act as a break, resulting in inefficiency. She also suspected that the improper foot strike was causing the piriformis pain. She recommended I try running in more of a forward lean position so my foot strike would occur underneath me rather than in front of me. She explained that while in the forward lean position I would be using more of my larger glute muscles instead of the smaller muscles in the piriformis area. The next time I ran, I tried running in the forward lean position as she suggested and the result were (once again) incredible! It felt as though I was running with less effort. It actually felt like I was running slower than the pace was showing on my watch, the feeling of being able to run faster and more efficient with less effort was profound. The piriformis issue has been alleviated, as Jackie suspected it would, and I now have drastically reduced pain and tightness in that area.
