It's a very clean place and I love the pricing. I also love that they are actually 24 hours unlike 24 hour fitness which is not even close to that. The only downfall is that their lack of machines. They don't have a big variety of machines. Not at all. I've been to smaller hole in the wall gyms that have had much more variety. There's no benches for bench pressing and there is not enough leg machines. A bunch of cardio though. But, there's pros and cons of every business. It looks like I'm going to stay though lol. To clean not to.... Things are still cool but they really need a lot more 45 lb plates.

I have been a member of this Planet Fitness location for more than 10 years. I appreciate the increased size and new equipment but they do a terrible job with the 12 TV monitors. The volume on the audio for TV #1 is too low and can’t be heard on my ear buds even at full volume. Closed captioning is useless unless you are right in front of the TV you want to watch. TV #4 has ESPN but NO AUDIO. TV #5 has the FOOD CHANNEL but NO AUDIO. TV #10 also has FOOD CHANNEL and good audio. TV #5 should have video and audio for local channel 40 KTXL.I told a staff member about these problems 3 weeks ago and he said he would check it out. A week later I asked him about fixing the problems and he told me all he could do was open a ticket, he had no power to fix anything. It has been more than a month and the staff still hasn't figured out how to turn up the volume for TV #1. Sorry state for a newly renovated business.

Very clean gym, but there is no customer service. you walk in and scan your barcode and they don’t even acknowledge you and you don’t get acknowledged when you leave. most of the time they’re occupied talking to eachother or people not even in workout attire which i’m assuming are their friends. the funny part is i used to work at planet fitness in another city and the whole company prides themselves on great customer service and being friendly.

Awful customer service and the management is ridiculous. It's very low priced and clean. I stopped going because I couldn't handle the poor management and how immature staff was. Some staff members were nice. Anyway, $10 bucks a month is a great deal....but I'd rather pay more money and work out in a more professional environment.

Sunrise citrus heights club insisted on seeing my ID, and I have been a member for more than 3 years and not sure why I have not ever been told that. The staff member indicated that the policy is (according to a sign posted adjacent the check-in desk) guest visitors are required to show ID. Actually in my case I don't think that members are treated like this. Please make sure you are not going beyond policy, it's not going to make any member happy to be treated like a visiting guest.

I’ve been attending this gym for over a year now. My husband and I downgraded our membership in April from the $20 plan (still not even sure what the exact plan cost is, as my mom is charged $25 and we were charged $23 and some change) to the $10 plan, but they continued to charge us $23. In July, I realized this and called for myself. Per recommendation from staff, I explained my situation and asked to speak with a manager regarding it. To make a long story short, they will never put a manager on the phone. The associates will always say that they’re going to put you on hold look into the account, and they will not return with manager or call one when needed. One male associate told me that his manager was next to him, so he was going to put me on hold to ask him about my situation- rather than just letting me speak to the manager. I had to call 2 times just for myself to get the issue resolved. Both of these times, I spoke with Joanna, who provided horrible customer service. She was snooty, short, and rude with her answers; as if I was the reason I was being overcharged. My husband just called today and spoke to a woman. She sounded just like Joanna, and told him that she could only give him a refund for 3 months although it’s been 4 for him as well. I took the phone from him and explained that I spoke to her mid-July and she gave me 4 months free due to this issue. She was quick to change her answer, and only gave me a sassy “okay”.This problem is now solved for both of us, which I’m grateful for, but the customer service doesn’t even deserve a one-star rating.

This is possibly the worst not only gym but Planet Fitness I have ever been to. The staff is extremely rude, the locker rooms are disgusting, when I bring a complaint to the staff & manager they do nothing about it and I am returned with attitude. I no longer work in the area and live 40 minutes away from this location and when I tried to cancel my membership over the phone they told me that I have to come in person but yet failed to give a legitimate reason other than "well that's our policy". Even when I was attending this gym I felt unsafe by other members and staff were very rude.

Gave 4 stars because I personally don't like the fans on that blow and REALLY wish they had a pool and sauna or at least a sauna 🤷♀️. Other than that the staff are kind and very respectful. …

I like this gym for the price and the convenience in where their locations are at. Plenty of machines, plenty of dumbbells and not usually a long wait to get access to a bench. I go to three different locations regularly and in general you can find the same set up at each place. They are very good at keeping the gym clean and sanitized which is a plus. I'm overall satisfied and would recommend them.
