I have worked out at Titans Gym for almost 7 years now and I recommend it to everyone I know. Excellent equipment, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Worth every penny of the membership price. I also recommend using the personal training service. It has helped me stay focused and reach my fitness and health goals.

I've had a wonderful experience at Titans . I jus wish they had a pool and a sauna.

Not regularly cleaned or maintained. Parking is not available many of the days. Fitness instructors are great, but many of the machines are not usable due to poor maintenance. The location is very convenient though and discounts available if you work for major employers in the area.

Mentor location....Not recommended. Not user friendly, broken equipment. Broken promises, don't waste your money.

Tension type machines, can't produce a good range. Went down there for first time, guys looking at me like ( what I do ), I had to manipulate ranges of motion to get machines to do the job. Cheap! , fees expensive.

This is one of the best gyms I have been too. I travel around the country and always look forward to visiting Titan's. The gym's equipment is top notch, never too crowded and the staff is very friendly. If you have the opportunity to train here, do not pass it up!

In January I signed up for a 2-year gym membership at Titan Gym in Mentor. Before signing, the conversation went like this:Me: I only want to sign up for a few months. I don't want to belong to a gym in the summertiime.Titan: You can suspend your membership over the summer months. (He volunteered this. I had never heard of such a thing.)Me: How does it work?Titan: Say you suspend it for 3 months. Then your expiration date gets moved back 3 months.Me: How do I do it?Titan: Just tell them at the front desk when you want to do it.The ability to suspend is the only reason I signed up. Now they won't to let me suspend the membership for the summer, saying "It's not in the contract." They led me to believe that it's a normal part of belonging to the gym and then hid behind what's (not) written. All my attempts at peaceful resolution were met by hiding, avoiding, and more lying. It would cost me more to take them to Small Claims Court than what the damages are (thankfully, a fairly cheap membership), so my only recourse is the BBB and writing reviews online.Bottom line: they lied to my face just to get me to sign the contract.

I was staying at the Marriott downtown Cleveland and needed a full gym. They suggested Titans Gym. The place is very clean and well set up. Plenty of cario upstairs and all the weights are downstairs. There was a lot of room and all the equipment was top notch. There was nothing missing.

Of all the gyms in downtown Cleveland this isn't the worst, but there are some major problems. My advice would be to find another gym until they get their act together. It certainly is not worth the premium they are charging. My main complaints about the place is there is no wifi available for guests, it is freezing in the cardio section during the lunch rush because one of the owners insists on keeping the door propped open while she exercises, and most of the equipment seems to be cheap knockoffs of better brands. In this day and age and for $39.99 per month wifi should be available at every gym. With all the new technology out there it would be nice to be able to listen to internet radio while working out. I think my comment about the owner propping the door open during the winter is fairly self explanatory. It is the middle of winter in Cleveland, OH and if you are getting too warm while exercising then I would suggest a few things: 1) get a fan and move it towards you while doing cardio 2) lower the heat in the place or 3) workout first thing in the AM or last thing in the PM when no one is around. After all you are managing a gym, at least for now, use some common sense. I can't imagine working out in the cold is all that good for you. Lastly, to address my comment about the equipment. Don't get me wrong, it is all new stuff, but pretty bush league if you ask me. The dumbbells are giant and completely made of rubber making it very difficult to use. None of the machines in the place offer enough resistance. Believe me, I am no super hero and can do a full rack on most machines. Not to mention every machine can be increased/decreased in 20 lb increments and you can slide down an additional 7.5 lbs. Most every traditional machine I have used goes in increments of 5 or 10lbs. Again, I am no expert, but seems a little odd. There are also some cheap knockoffs of hammer strength scattered throughout that are similar to the machines. Pretty much no matter how much you put on the resistance doesn't change all that much. Lastly, there are some pretty blaring mistakes in regards to variety. There is only 1 smith machine, no pullup/dip stretch station, and no decline benches to do abs (this is just a short list of things missing). The only good thing I can say is it is clean. I had a 2 week trial membership and decided not to sign up. I urge you to do the same until improvements are made. Feel free to post any questions in response to my review.

There are reasonably priced tanning beds. They have a cafe where the people actually planned a healthy menu (not oh, but it says fat free on the box bs.) The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and completely non-condescending. All the equipment is state of the art, its same stuff you would see in the Bat Cave when Bruce Wayne works out. The place is open 24 hours, clean, and inexpensive. So if your still reading this review WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING! You should be working out right now....at Titans
